Will Smith's Crime Thriller With 'Barbie' Star Is Quietly Climbing Streaming Charts

Movies about con artists using their trickery for unthinkable feats make for some of the most entertaining watches. Classics like Catch Me If You Can, The Sting, Ocean’s Eleven, and The Wolf of Wall Street keep the audience glued to their seats trying to figure it all out. One among them is the Will Smith and Margot Robbie-starring Focus, which is now surging on streaming charts a decade after its initial release.

Focus found a way to the Netflix Top 10 charts, sitting comfortably at the 9th spot, per Flixpatrol. The movie follows Smith’s accomplished criminal Nicky, who gets romantically involved with his new disciple Jess (Robbie) and later breaks up with her. Things take a turn when Jess, now a femme fatale, returns to Nicky’s life to disturb his latest plans. Directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, the movie was a massive hit in 2015, earning $158.8 million worldwide. Focus’ slick visuals, gripping narrative, and compelling performances make it an entertaining watch and stand the test of time. It has a 55% Rotten Tomatoes rating from the critics and a close 53% from the audience.

Margot Robbie Will Next Star in ‘Wuthering Heights’

While we haven’t seen Robbie and Smith pair up since Focus, both actors have done brilliant projects individually. Smith has films lined up such as Hancock 2 and I Am Legend 2, while Robbie will soon be seen as Catherine Earnshaw in Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights opposite Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff. The movie recently released a sizzling trailer, which shows the director’s ethereal, gothic spin on the age-old tale. Elordi previously told Collider, “Yeah, but it’s also incredibly traditional, in so many ways,” when asked if the film feels like Fennell’s personal take on the classic novel. Adding:

“She is seriously a genius. She knows this book more than anyone, I think, on this earth. It’ll always be an Emerald Fennell film, but it’s brilliant.”

Fennell directs from her script and also casts Hong Chau as Nelly, Shazad Latif as Edgar, Alison Oliver as Isabella, Martin Clunes as Mr. Earnshaw, and Ewan Mitchell. While Wuthering Heights has had many adaptations, fans of the director and the actors have high hopes for the upcoming feature. Wuthering Heights will be released by Warner Bros. on February 13, 2026. Meanwhile, Focus is streaming on Netflix.

Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.
