One of 2024’s best RPGs is arriving for free on Xbox Game Pass on March 24, and fans of the genre will want to check out this game as soon as it drops. There have been several huge games added to the subscription service this year. In January, both Death Stranding: Director’s Cut and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 joined the catalog. Shortly after, we saw the day-one release of High on Life 2 on Xbox Game Pass, which was praised by players.

As part of the new March games on Xbox Game Pass, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is joining the subscription service’s catalog on March 24. The RPG released in 2024 by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio was one of the best titles that year, and now members will be able to play it for free on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles, PC, handheld devices, and via the cloud gaming service.
The game does have optimizations for Xbox Series X/S, and, on Game Pass, it has the Xbox Play Anywhere feature. According to the official announcement, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will be available for members of the Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass tiers. This installment in the Yakuza series will become one of the best RPGs on Xbox Game Pass when it arrives in a few days.

Infinite Wealth is a sequel to 2020’s Yakuza: Like a Dragon. The title takes place in three different locations, one of which is Honolulu City in Hawaii. In the game, you take control of both Ichiban Kasuga, from the 2020 RPG, as well as Kazuma Kiryu, the previous main protagonist from the franchise. The game was one of 2024’s best games and was highly praised by critics and players alike.
In Screen Rant’s review of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, we gave it a 10/10 score, calling it the best Yakuza game ever made, while highlighting its excellent combat and “charming” side content. If you’ve played Yakuza: Like a Dragon, following up with Infinite Wealth for free is a great idea.
Even if you haven’t really immersed yourself in the Yakuza series, it is well worth your time to play Infinite Wealth. This is especially true considering this RPG’s free status on Xbox Game Pass.
