XO, Kitty fans, we have some really exciting news to share about the highly anticipated third season. We’re finally about to get that long-awaited To All the Boys cameo we’ve been waiting for! Just last season, we saw familiar faces like Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) and Margot Song-Covey (Janel Parrish) pop up in the hit teen series, teasing connections to the original films.
Now, we’re getting the ultimate reunion. I’m sure you know who we’re talking about by now. Lana Condor, who played Kitty’s older sister Lara Jean in the beloved To All the Boys movies, is officially making her first appearance on XO, Kitty season 3! No, this isn’t a joke. Fans everywhere are finally getting the on-screen sister reunion they’ve been dreaming of, and it’s set to make the third season even more unmissable.
Lana Condor officially joins XO, Kitty season 3 cast

On March 6, Netflix shared a short video on its official XO, Kitty Instagram page that featured Condor, Anna Cathcart, and Sang Heon Lee on the set of XO, Kitty season 3. In the video, all three are in character. So, that’s Condor as Lara Jean, Cathcart as Kitty, and Lee as Min Ho. Min Ho walks by and notices Kitty sitting in the seat next to Lara Jean and says her last name, “Covey.” Both Lara Jean and Kitty then turn around and respond. It’s basically a funny video to announce Condor’s upcoming cameo in the third season.
In the post’s caption, it’s also revealed that the XO, Kitty season 3 trailer will be dropping on Monday. That’s March 9, 2026, so make sure to mark your calendars! If you recall from the season 2 finale, Kitty was about to follow her heart with Min Ho, leaving fans on a hopeful cliffhanger as she considered joining him on his family’s summer tour. While it’s unclear how many episodes Lara Jean will be in for the third season, her appearance is sure to be one of the highlights.
We’ve already begun to imagine how the sisters will interact, what advice Lara Jean might give Kitty, and how their reunion could shake up Kitty’s love life. While Kitty is known for her teen matchmaking skills, things haven’t been going too great for her in the romance department since she moved to Seoul.
She needs all the help she can get, and who better to guide her than her older sister, Lara Jean? Lara Jean and Peter might have gotten their happily ever after, but she has plenty of insight, encouragement, and witty life lessons to help Kitty figure out her own love story. In XO, Kitty season 2, Centineo reprised his Peter role briefly in the sixth episode to help Kitty with her love life. Parrish, on the other hand, came back as Margot in the eighth episode of the second season. Her scenes were mainly involving her character and Kitty as they dealt with their family drama.
Perhaps we might see Lara Jean finally get to meet her, Kitty, and Margot’s extended family in South Korea as well in XO, Kitty season 3. That would be exciting to see! We’re also hoping the official trailer might feature Lara Jean in some clips. Fingers crossed!
XO, Kitty season 3 is set to drop on Netflix on April 2. Don’t forget to save the date!
