When it seemed like the world couldn’t get more hooked on pistachios, Marks and Spencer released a perfume inspired by the nut.
Pistachios are the most coveted, stylish ingredient this season, thanks to the viral Dubai chocolate, ice cream, and the soft, muted colour taking over interiors and homeware.
Now, M&S has managed to get the UK in an even tighter chokehold with the nut, which hails from Persia, thanks to the release of its new pistachio-scented perfume.
‘It features notes of moreish pistachio, delicate tuberose and warm tonka bean in a generous 100ml bottle,’ the retailer’s website reads.
‘The resulting fragrance is a captivating mix of soft, nutty notes with a touch of floral sweetness.’
But it’s not just the sweet scent that has shoppers brimming with excitement, but also the reasonable price tag of £10.

It comes after British shoppers have gone into a frenzy over the launch of Dubai chocolate at UK supermarkets, with some queuing up to get their hands on the sweet treat.
The milk chocolate bar is filled with crispy knafeh, pistachio cream and tahini spread. Last year, influencers flew across the world to get their hands on it when it was created by Dubai-based Fix Dessert Chocolatier.
Now, dozens of confectioners have created their own versions, with Lidl and Waitrose among the supermarkets flogging the chocolate bar in the UK.
Viewers took the comment section to share their thoughts on the perfume – and many were impressed
Supermarkets are now seeing a rush on Brits trying to get their hands on the bar, and even limiting customers to only buying two bars each.
Angelina Perello Javar, an influencer from west London, revealed she headed to her local Lidl at 7.30am on a Saturday morning, to discover a queue outside.
Once inside, Angelina said she couldn’t find the chocolate, and had to ask for it from a worker who kept it behind the till.
‘I can’t believe we woke up at 7:30 on a Saturday to queue, but it seems like other people had the same idea,’ she explained.
‘We arrived around 7.55 and there were about 30 people outside already for the 8am opening.’
Bing Bing, another London-based influencer, headed to her local Lidl where she saw ‘a rush on the chocolate’.
‘As soon as the doors opened, everyone just rushed in and no one knew where the chocolate was.
‘It retails for £4.99 per bar but if you have the Lidl plus card, it’s £3.99 and it’s limited to two per person.
‘People went crazy for the chocolate bars, they were arguing with staff about the limits. We managed to get two each,’ she added.
