Naomi Watts and her daughter Kai Schreiber lit up the night at a recent Armani Beauty event in New York City.
In photos from the Wednesday event, which celebrated the luxury brand’s Luminous Silk Collection, Watts wore a sparkling midnight blue draped blouse with matching shorts, paired with pointed toe black mules.
The actress styled her blonde hair in a chic slicked-back bob and accessorized with delicate diamond hoop earrings.
Her model daugther, 16, towered over her in photos from the event. Kai donned a whimsical black skirt with multi-colored polka dots and a matching black short-sleeved shirt, dotted with multi-colored details.
Schreiber accessorized with large black statement earrings, and finished the look with black platform heels. In several heartwarming photos, Watts was seen applying makeup to her daughter’s face at the Soho soirée.
Via Instagram, Watts called the outing “a little @armanibeauty moment 💅.”
In the comments thread, fans couldn’t get over the stylish mother-daughter pair.
“Stunning both of you!!!!” gushed a follower, while another wrote, “QUEENS.” A third noted Schreiber’s height by quipping, “You’re shrinking 😂”

Kai made her runway modeling debut at Paris Fashion Week in March, strutting the catwalk in a Valentino leopard-printed minidress with a distinctive feather collar.
When the up and coming model subsequently appeared in Valentino’s pre-fall campaign, the “Mulholland Drive” actress took to social media to gush over her daughter’s achievement.
Watts shared a collection of photos from the photo shoot, as well as snapshots of behind the scenes moments.

In a recent interview, Kai left no room for confusion on her future career plans.
“I want to be a supermodel. Period,” she told Interview magazine earlier this month.
She added that her famous mom has supported her ambitions in an unexpected way.
“I’ve been practicing my walks in the kitchen for years; my mom can show you all the videos I forced her to film,” Kai divulged.
Perhaps she’ll be the new face of Armani Beauty soon enough.
