Looking at the career of Stephen Curry, words like interesting, intriguing, and legendary come to mind. On the court, he’s earned every major accolade, and won four NBA championships.
In the entertainment world, he’s also been able to accomplish an awful lot. In 2017, he made guest appearances on both The Simpsons and Family Guy.
Additionally, he guest-starred on an episode of Ballers. He’s been in plenty of ads, and been making waves wherever he has gone. He starred in the show Mr. Throwback with Adam Pally in 2024, which was a big hit on Peacock.
Curry, the Warriors star, has 27 producing credits as well, with a new movie coming out. An animated film about animals and making it in a pro basketball leave, he is one of the lead producers.
Goat will come out on February 13, with Curry also voicing Lenny Williamson, a giraffe. He got Kevin Love, his former rival from the Cavs-Warriors days, to make an appearance as well.
Let’s run through all the pro talent that will be lending their voices to the project.
Kevin Love and Other Pro Players In Goat Movie
Kevin Love is among a number of professional basketball players that will appear in the new Stephen Curry-produced movie Goat, which drops on February 13.
Love has previous acting experience on The Suite Life on Deck, while also making an appearance on Entourage during its peak. He was also in the second Uncle Drew original commercial with Kyrie Irving.
Joining love will be former Curry teammate Andre Iguodala, who is going to be playing Iggy The Ref. The forward was integral to a number of Warriors championships, so it’s cool to see him back in this role.
Dwyane Wade is going to be lending his voice talents to the project, as well. He hosted The Cube on TBS in 2021, and made appearances on The Cleveland Show, Just Wright, and What to Expect when You’re Expecting, from 2010-2012.
This film is also featuring two WNBA superstars. A’ja Wilson is going to be earning her first credit that is not as herself. She had a quick Space Jam cameo, but this one is the chance to lean into the voice talent.
Joining Wilson will be Angel Reese. The rising star both on and off the floor, will be in her second role in the past two years. Reese played a WNBA star in the film A House of Dynamite.
Ayesha Curry, Steph’s wife, is also going to be making an appearance, playing Carol in the film.
Of course, this is a movie stocked with incredible talent, and should make waves when it drops next month.
Stephen Curry Keeping Things Interesting
With Stephen Curry, there really is never a dull moment. Watching him play for the Warriors and dropping threes like there is no tomorrow is as exciting as it gets.
Off the floor, he’s been producing more projects and lending his acting talent all over. Getting Kevin Love, Andre Iguodala, and Dwyane Wade in here will add more intrigue for NBA fans to go see the movie.
Bringing in A’ja Wilson and Angel Reese will also allow the same opportunity for fans of modern day Women’s basketball. When Goat drops on February 13, expect sports fans of all ages to flock to those theaters.
Curry and the Warriors are back in action against the Knicks tonight, January 15, against the Knicks at home.
