NXT’s No Mercy event already has three title matches scheduled.

The latest episode of WWE NXT on the CW saw the first three matches confirmed for No Mercy. NXT’s next Premium Live Event is set to take place on Saturday, September 27 from the FTL War Memorial in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

An iconic arena for wrestling will play host to one of the final major NXT events of the year. Homecoming will take place two weeks prior with Halloween Havoc taking place on Saturday, October 25 from the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, AZ.

First Three Matches Confirmed for NXT No Mercy Are All Championship Bouts

It’s no surprise that Lola Vice’s NXT Women’s Championship match will be taking place at the next PLE. Vice earned that opportunity by defeating Kelani Jordan and Jaida Parker at Heatwave last weekend. Her victory continues to build on the momentum she’s been getting, including an appearance at AAA’s TripleMania event.

Things aren’t going too well for Jacy Jayne and Fatal Influence. Jayne is no longer a double champion as Ash by Elegance brought the TNA Knockouts Championship back home. Heatwave could have begun the beginning of the group’s downfall as shown by their loss to Vice, Sol Ruca, and Zaria.

Speaking of Ruca, she’s a double champion herself. Carrying around the North American and Speed Championships is no joke. WWE and X’s partnership expired which abruptly put an end to “WWE Speed”. Seeing as Ruca is still the champion, NXT GM Ava decided that the belts would be defended on the brand moving forward.

Now, Ruca awaits her next challenger. At No Mercy she’ll either defend her Speed Championship against Candice LeRae, Lainey Reid, TNA’s Xia Brookside, or AAA’s Faby Apache. The first round matches will be: LeRae vs. Brookside and Reid vs. Apache.

Finally, the NXT Championship will be defended once more. Oba Femi’s reign continues as he got the best of Je’Von Evans in a crazy match at Heatwave. He was immediately confronted by Ricky Saints afterwards, who became No. 1 contender with a win over Josh Briggs. Saints and Femi are set to main event the No Mercy event.

How Will the Rest of the Card Look?

The rivalry between Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe seems far from over. While Monroe picked up the win at Heatwave, Grace’s interference allowed Jordan to steal a win over Monroe on this past week’s NXT.

The women’s division continues to shine as Lash Legend and Jaida Parker were still going at it backstage. Parker failed to become No. 1 contender while Legend is still trying to climb her way up the ladder.

Kendal Grey was in the spotlight as she got to team with Wren Sinclair against The Culling’s Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley. With so many women fighting to earn a spot on the No Mercy card, it’s up to Ava to figure out who will be featured.

Chelsea Green and Ethan Page continue to make their mark on NXT. The Canadian’s feud with Tyra Mae Steele and Tavion Heights continued, which could lead to a North American Championship match between Page and Heights.

Lexis King cheating in a blindfold match is worth noting as well. Myles Borne has been looking for his next big break since he challenged Femi back at Battleground. Clearly, he still has King to deal with before he can look elsewhere.

Keep in mind El Grande Americano is the Men’s Speed Champion. While no details were revealed about a men’s tournament, he will have to defend the title eventually.
