Oprah's iconic holiday gift guide has arrived for the year 2025 - and she's showing support for her famous friends by plugging their brands across multiple categories

Oprah’s iconic holiday gift guide has arrived for the year 2025 – and she’s showing support for her famous friends by plugging their brands across multiple categories.

On Wednesday, Oprah published this year’s edition of ‘Oprah’s Favorite Things,’ the longstanding gift guide that has appeared in her magazine, Oprah Daily, since 1996.

The gift guide features ideas for presents across multiple categories, like food, style, wellness, and even kids and families.

But this year, the media mogul didn’t hesitate to give a few brazen shoutouts to her friends, including products from Meghan Markle, Kim Kardashian, and Spanx founder Sara Blakely.

In the ‘food’ section of this year’s guide, Oprah included an item from Meghan’s latest holiday drop, the As Ever Signature Fruit Spread, which retails for $42.

It’s a holiday release that experts recently described to Daily Mail as ‘overpriced’ and ‘lacking originality.’

The gift set includes jars of Meghan’s orange marmalade, as well as her strawberry and raspberry spreads.

‘Before my neighbor Meghan started her business, she shared her homemade recipes with us,’ Oprah wrote in the guide.

‘I love to drizzle it on an English muffin (at left) or yogurt or ice cream. I also love bringing a jam or preserves as a hostess gift, and with this pretty box set of orange marmalade and raspberry and strawberry spreads, just add a bow and you’re ready to go,’ Oprah shared.

Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, even sent out an email to customers on Wednesday morning, announcing that they had been included on the list.

‘We’re honored to be included in the season’s quintessential guide to gifting,’ the email read.

‘So much love is poured into each recipe, to bring the brightness and warmth of the garden to your home in every season,’ the message continued, as they even offered customers a 10 percent off code to use on the website.

But The Duchess of Sussex wasn’t the only famous friend to make the cut.

Oprah also included a $128 pajama set by Skims, the intimates and loungewear brand owned by Kim Kardashian.

The talk show host claimed that she owned three pairs of the pajamas herself.

‘They’re whisper-soft, easy to move in, easy to live in — the kind of set you never want to take off,’ Oprah wrote.

Also featured in the gift guide was Spanx founder Sara Blakely’s new shoe brand, Sneex, which are sneaker-stilettos designed to be worn to the office and beyond.

Their products have also appeared on Oprah’s Favorite Things in previous years.

The mogul also mentioned Shay Mitchell’s BÉIS luggage line, linking the brand’s $188 essential luggage line.

In the description, Oprah’s best friend, Gayle King, admitted that she was a huge fan of the luggage.

‘I love a matched set, and these, in high-fashion colors, are easy to pick out at the baggage carousel,’ Gayle said.

Oprah even made many of these items shoppable through Amazon – which is no coincidence, as she attended Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s extravagant Venetian wedding this past June.

It was filmed after they had relocated their family to Montecito, California, and stepped down from their roles as working royals.

During the interview, Meghan spoke about alleged racism and how her and Prince Harry’s mental health suffered.

But recently, some fans suspected that all was not well between Oprah and Meghan.

In July, Oprah took a ‘gentle jab’ at her Montecito neighbors while appearing on Kelly Ripa’s podcast.

After Kelly asked Oprah if she would enjoy receiving baby chicks as a gift, the veteran talk show host said no, and added, ‘I’d run them straight over to the Sussexes’ while mispronouncing the name by adding extra ‘xesssses’ at the end.

The billionaire then playfully repeated ‘the Sussexes’ once again for good measure.

Oprah went on to share an anecdote of how she helped the couple deal with a surprising backyard ‘problem’.

Oprah lives close to the pair in California and she recalled rushing to their aid over the Easter weekend when they discovered ducklings in their backyard but had nowhere suitable to settle them.

‘I get a call from Harry, Prince Harry, on Easter Saturday, and he says, “Sorry to bother you, O, but we have a duck problem here,”‘ she said, imitating a British accent.

‘A duck had come into their yard and laid their eggs and had these chicks.

‘And he said, “Our pond is a stream, we don’t have a pond, so can we bring the ducks over to your pond?”‘

Oprah agreed but asked Harry to wait because her best friend Gayle King’s grandchildren were coming to visit and would like to see the spectacle, but Harry – who shares Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, with Meghan – insisted he needed to move the creatures immediately.

She continued: ‘I said, “Wait until I can get the kids to come down to the pond so they can see you put the ducks in the pond.” And he goes, “No, we’re coming right away, we’re coming over!”‘

But the cute scene turned to chaos when the ‘mama duck’ fled and the trio had to chase her, providing the ‘funniest thing’ Oprah had ever seen.

She said: ‘As he opens the door, the mama duck flies out. And he’s got all the baby ducks in a box.’

‘We’re chasing the mama duck who is in the front yard and has flown to the other side. We’ve got her ducks. Harry’s running after, Meghan gets out, she’s running after, chasing the mom and trying to get her to come back to her ducks.’

‘And for like half an hour, we’re running around with the ducks in a box. We have video. It’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.’

Kelly joked the duck had been very shrewd in choosing a nesting spot.

She laughed: ‘The ducks also hit the jackpot.’

‘They’re like, “Wait a minute, we show up at Prince Harry’s house and now we’re at Oprah’s!” Excuse me. That duck knew what it was doing when it laid its eggs.’
