An Oscar-nominated actress looked unrecognizable as she transformed into an older man during the latest episode of SNL.
The 35-year-old star who embraced the new look for a humorous wedding reception skit was Teyana Taylor – and she officially made her hosting debut on the sketch comedy series.
Earlier this week, Taylor celebrated as she garnered an Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actress based on her performance in One Battle After Another.
She also had the chance to showcase her comedic skills during the night – and played the role of a guest in one of the sketches.
It kicked off at a reception following a wedding ceremony and the bride gave a special shout out to the groom’s grandfather who was in attendance, despite him recently turning 87 and having both his knees replaced.
The camera then cut to Taylor dressed as an old man with a balding head and gray mustache.

‘I wouldn’t have missed this for the world,’ she said in a deep raspy voice.
The groom then joked to his grandpa, ‘I want to see you on the dance floor busting a move.’
But Taylor replied, ‘At my age, most likely to bust a hip than move.’ The DJ then began playing the hit track September by Earth, Wind & Fire.
Grandpa’s son – played by Kenan Thompson – began talking about how proud he is of the groom.
However, Taylor’s character of the older man wasn’t paying attention due to being distracted by the beat of the upbeat tune in the background.
‘They’re playing my song,’ she said while slowly standing up on wobbly legs and using the support of a walker.
But she suddenly began to move her legs and repeated, ‘They’re playing my song. The groove got me.’
Taylor took a step onto the dance floor and called out, ‘Everybody out of the godd*** way.’ She then began spinning and grooving to the track, shocking all of the guests.

Everyone cheered on the older man until Thompson guided Taylor back to the chair to sit down.
The DJ then started to play Let’s Groove – another hit track by Earth, Wind & Fire.
But before Taylor could sit back down, she began showing off more impeccable dance moves. ‘Oh! This is my song!’
‘I thought the last one was your song,’ Thompson said with a concerned tone as he watched his father groove again. Taylor called over the bride and they both danced together until Thompson broke it up.
