Pamela Anderson is working on a Barb Wire reboot with her sons.
The 58-year-old actress – who starred in the 1996 cult classic film – is joining forces with her children Brandon Thomas Lee, 29, and Dylan Jagger Lee, 27 for a TV adaptation of the movie.
According to Deadline, the project will be the first from Anderson and her children’s production company, And-Her-Sons Productions.
Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg will executive produce the TV series for Dark Horse, along with Pamela and Brandon for And-Her-Sons. The 1996 movie was based on the Dark Horse Comics character of the same name.
A source close to the actress told DailyMail.com: ‘And-Her-Sons Productions was set up to reinvigorate beloved characters that their mom helped to create and inspire.’
The insider added that the characters have ‘stood the test of time’ with Pamela’s ‘input’ and ‘hindsight.’

Both Brandon and Dylan – whose father is Motley Crue star Tommy Lee – appeared in reality series Pamela’s Garden of Eden and Pamela’s Cooking with Love; while Brandon produced the 2023 Netflix documentary Pamela: A Love Story and 2024’s The Last Showgirl.
They father’s song ‘Planet Boom’ was also featured on the original film’s soundtrack. At the time, Tommy was married to the movie star.
He and Pamela both starred in the music video as well.
Pamela and her sons have also acquired the skin care brand Sonsie together last year.
Meanwhile, Pamela previously admitted she couldn’t watch the movie – in which she starred as bounty hunter Barbara ‘Barb Wire’ Kopetski – for 27 years.
The role came when Pamela was at the height of her blonde bombshell fame, which started with her role as lifeguard C.J. Parker in smash hit TV show Baywatch.
Although Anderson was playing a comic book character, she admitted she felt like a living ‘Halloween costume’ back then and it took almost three decades for her to actually sit and watch herself in director David Hogan’s box office flop.

In an interview with TimesRadio, she said: ‘I look back and I think, you know, even those characters, CJ, Barb Wire, even Vallery Irons on VIP, they’re Halloween costumes.’
‘I mean, because they’re not just about the costumes, it’s what’s in the costume.’
‘There’s a lot of heart in all of those roles. And it may not have been, you know, thespian in any way.’
She added, ‘But also, I was 27 years old when I did “Barb Wire”, and I didn’t see it until 27 years later, and I watched it in French with English subtitles. I could stomach it that way.’
It comes after the actress addressed the speculation about her close bond with her The Naked Gun co-star Liam Neeson, 73.
The pair have sparked headlines since promoting their latest film together, but on Friday night, Pamela shut down the PR stunt rumors.
Dressed in a strapless black floor-length ensemble, while accepting the Deauville 2025 Talent Award at the Deauville American Film Festival, Pamela had no qualms in reminding the crowd that she is as comfortable on the red carpet, as she is shutting down the gossip mill.

The pair first stoked romance rumors during the press run for their film, which hit theaters on August 1 (pictured at the end of July)
She declared: ‘I do not and will never feed into PR stunts. That would be a death sentence. I’m authentically driven.’
While some have questioned their chemistry, insiders close to the pair insist their connection is the real deal.
In late August a source told Daily Mail that the two A-listers have a ‘genuine’ connection and that claims that their feelings for each other are fake and just a PR stunt are ‘ridiculous.’
It was added that ‘everything between them has been genuine. Neither would ever take part in a publicity stunt. They have a great time. Neither of them needs the publicity.’
