As The Last of Us star, 50, made his way down the carpet in the French seaside town, he stuck out his tongue and blew a kiss at the assembled fans and photographers.
Fans couldn’t get enough of his playful behavior — or his arms — at the Palais des Festivals during the photo call for his upcoming film Eddington.
One fan even shared a photo of Pedro with his arm around Emma Stone and wrote, ‘My new religion is pedro pascal’s arms.’

Elsewhere on the red carpet, the Materialists star commented on the current climate in U.S. politics and very vociferously said, ‘F**k the people who try to make you scared.’
When he was asked, alongside Eddington cast members Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone and Austin Butler — if they were worried about reentering the U.S. after making a film with such a strong political message, he said, ‘Fear is the way that they win.’
‘So keep telling the stories, keep expressing yourself and keep fighting to be who you are,’ he continued, per Variety. ‘F**k the people that try to make you scared, you know? And fight back. This is the perfect way to do so in telling stories. And don’t let them win.’
Eddington is set at the height of the COVID pandemic in May 2020 and follows ‘a standoff between a small-town sheriff (Phoenix) and mayor (Pascal)’ that ‘sparks a powder keg as neighbor is pitted against neighbor in Eddington, New Mexico.’
Earlier in the press conference, the Wild Robot actor was asked about Donald Trump’s immigration policies.
‘Obviously, it’s very scary for an actor participating in a movie to sort of speak to issues like this. It’s far too intimidating the question for me to really address, I’m not informed enough,’ he said.
‘I want people to be safe and to be protected, and I want very much to live on the right of history. I’m an immigrant. My parents are refugees from Chile. We fled a dictatorship, and I was privileged enough to grow up in the U.S. after asylum in Denmark.’

Her co-stars started laughing at her reaction as a bee started flying a little too close for comfort and tried to help her swat it away.
As she was breaking down over the sudden surprise, her two co-stars tried to save her as Butler attempted to blow the bee away but accidentally made it fly even closer to Stone.
Then, Pascal waved the bee away with his hand before wrapping his arms around Stone to catch her when her knees’ buckled and she pretended to melt away in relief.
