In 2023, the content creator from New York made waves online after admitting: ‘I’ve asked the last three dudes I’ve dated for their bank account info on the first date.’
She explained that she ‘only wants to date a wealthy guy that has money’ and wants to know if she’s ‘wasting her time.’
‘I think, you know, I have a job, I’m very successful,’ she told her podcast listeners.
‘So I think I have every f***ing right to be like, “Hi, are we on the same level or am I wasting my time?”‘
In the full episode, shared to YouTube, social media star guest Leo Skepi clarified if Sofia was asking for their log-in details, to which she said ‘yeah’ and pulled up a screenshot of the bank account amount of one man she was interested in.
‘I don’t think it’s weird to ask for that kind of information on a first date,’ she added.
The influencer stressed she wants to know the bank account details ‘especially if they’re under 5ft 10.’
‘I do that and, if they don’t show me, I’ll still go on like a second, third date but I need to know at a certain point. A lot of people think that’s just crazy of me to do, I don’t think it’s that crazy,’ she added. ‘Also, I’m 30 – I’m not really trying to just date and f**k around.’

Call Her Daddy co-host Alexandra Cooper and Franklyn called it quits in 2020, with Cooper hosting the podcast alone and Franklyn launching her own
Franklyn rose to fame after launching the Call Her Daddy podcast in 2018 with Barstool Sports and co-host Alex Cooper.
The pair suffered a bitter and public feud in 2020 over their contract renegotiation — as her ex-friend continuing to record their raunchy show solo.
Franklyn claimed Cooper stabbed her in the back while they were renegotiating a new deal with with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy.
At the time, they were reportedly making a base salary of $75,000, plus bonuses. They were said to have wanted to leave the company because they wanted to pursue other opportunities, like book and TV deals.
While the podcast was on hiatus, rumors swirled that the co-hosts had ended up turning on each other.
Portnoy claimed in a podcast episode he offered them $500,000 each, with bonuses, and six months taken off their contract, with Cooper interested in taking the deal, but Franklyn was not.
Portnoy also said Franklyn’s boyfriend was stirring up trouble. Franklyn refused to accept the new deal that was offered to them, with Cooper returned to the podcast alone.
In June, Franklyn appeared on Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets to talk about the infamous fallout, admitting she wishes she gave herself the ‘time to really heal or process what was happening,’ instead saying she ‘dove into work.’
