Prince George is growing up right in front of our eyes!

The pre-teen royal nearly towered over his mom, Princess Kate Middleton, as they were filmed on a rare mother-son outing.

In the Prince and Princess of Wales’ joint Instagram post on Saturday, the royals shared a video of George and Kate honoring Britain’s Armed Forces Day with a visit to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at the Royal Air Force Coningsby base.

The clip showed separate recordings of George, 12, and Kate, 44, as they took turns sitting in the cockpit of different planes.

“Honouring Service and Sacrifice,” the parents’ post was captioned, in part.

“Learning about the extraordinary history of these aircraft and meeting the pilots and engineers who keep their legacy alive. A powerful reminder of the courage, skill and dedication of those who serve, past and present. Thank you to all those who have served and continue to serve.”

in the most recent update on the royal, it was reported that he will soon be following in his dad’s footsteps by attending the same prestigious school as his dad.

“Kensington Palace can confirm that Prince George will attend Eton College from this September,” a spokesperson told Page Six earlier this month.

William attended the prestigious school from 1995 to 2000, while Prince Harry enrolled in 1998 and graduated in 2003.

George — who will turn 13 next month — previously attended Lambrook School in Ascot with his two younger siblings, Princess Charlotte, 12, and Prince Louis, 8.

Eton College, an all-boys boarding school in Berkshire, England, was founded in 1440. It’s the largest boarding school in England.

Other notable alumni include 20 British Prime Ministers, such as David Cameron and Boris Johnson.
