Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's pal shares how they act privately

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s friend Chef José Andrés divulged how the couple is always helping others — even behind the scenes.

Andrés — who was previously featured on Markle’s “With Love, Meghan” series — partnered his World Central Kitchen nonprofit with the Duke and Duchess’s Archewell Philanthropies to help those in need back in 2020.

He told People in comments published on Friday that Meghan and Harry often call or text as disasters develop, asking, “What can we do here and can we help you?”

“Nobody finds out about those moments and they do it often, all the time,” he told the outlet.

The Michelin-starred chef added that Meghan and Harry “are always caring about all the things happening in the world. They don’t have to do that. They sincerely do it because they care.”

The chef also praised the couple’s efforts to maintain a “normal life” while carrying on in the public eye.

“They can decide to live a life in the comfort of their home, but I love that they are there even when nobody’s looking, they’re there just making sure that they can also be part of the solution,” Andrés explained.

“That’s why I’m very proud to call them friends.”

The “Spain My Way” cookbook author also brought up Harry’s visit to Ukraine in April, where he brought awareness to those aiding the injured and war veterans.

“Not a lot of people do that,” he said of the Invictus Games founder‘s sojourn to Ukraine.

When they’re not teaming up to help after a disaster, Andrés divulged that he enjoys an ordinary friendship with Prince Harry, 41, and the “Suits” alum, 44.

“When we see each other or when we have conversations, we talk about what everybody else talks [about], right? Life, family, good times, new dish, new restaurant,” he told the outlet.

As far as their family life with Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, Andrés told the outlet that much of it happens in the kitchen.

“They made their kitchen the meeting place like every other family,” he said. “I love how Meghan interacts with her children and food.”
