What should have been an innocent segment on home shopping network QVC was thrown into chaos after a caller shocked the hosts with a very risqué admission about her style preferences.
During the recent segment, which has since gone viral on social media, hosts Kim Gravel and Mary DeAngelis were advertising a number of vibrant, multicolored sweaters from Gravel’s Belle collection.
The ladies were showing off the tops as they received a call from a woman named Marianne.
‘I wanted to tell you that I got that peasant blouse with the tassels,’ Marianne began.
‘And I used to wear the tassels on my pasties, do you know what pasties are?’ she continued, as the hosts looked stunned.
The caller appeared to be referencing the small nipple covers that are often referred to as ‘pasties.’
‘Okay…’ Gravel said in response, looking completely stunned.
‘Do you know what pasties are?’ Marianne asked again. ‘Okay, well, I had tassels on my pasties.’

Gravel then looked flustered as she stared directly into the camera.
‘Marianne, I just want to say this, you are my emotional support diva,’ Gravel said as her cohost made a hasty escape off-screen.
‘Okay, you have just made my whole entire day. Mary has walked off, she’s dead on the couch,’ she said, as the camera panned to DeAngelis, who was dramatically lying on the couch on set.
‘I’m having therapy with Marianne right now,’ DeAngelis joked.
Gravel then added that Marianne must have been her ‘sister from another mister.’
‘I have never… Marianne, you made my year,’ DeAngelis said.
The hilarious moment has gone so viral that it has reached over 1.2 million views on X, formerly Twitter, with people absolutely losing it over the interaction.
‘This is better than all the new movies,’ one user wrote in response to the clip.

Someone else typed, ‘Great Grandma is a freak! YOLO!’
‘OMG! I just laughed so hard. I needed this so badly! Sometimes you get a laugh out of places you would never think. LOL God how I needed this laugh,’ another commented.
‘Marianne sounds like she knows how to party,’ another agreed.
Someone else pointed out, ‘The way Mary had to hang those shirts so she could lay down.’
It’s not the first time that something like this has happened on the network.
In September, UK presenter Ruth Langsford collapsed into hysterical giggles over a cheeky quip while presenting her fashion range.
The broadcaster, 65, was left speechless when co-host Jackie Kabler asked if she’d ever ‘done a thumbhole’ after inspecting the sleeve on a jumper.
Startled, Ruth said: ‘I thought that was a joke then, no, I have never done a thumbhole’ before the pair broke down into giggles.
Jackie tried to keep the show on the road, but Ruth was forced to turn her back to the camera as she wiped tears from her eyes.
The two continued repeating ‘thumbhole’ which only made matters worse with the Loose Women star left bent over in hysterics.
Finally, things got so out of hand that QVC’s Jackie sent the show to a break while Ruth asked for a tissue to wipe away the mascara that was running down her cheeks.
