Rebel Wilson, 46, has confessed she uses weight loss jabs 'from time to time' to help maintain her figure

Rebel Wilson has confessed she uses weight loss jabs ‘from time to time’ to help maintain her figure after shedding more than 36kg (80lbs) in 2020.

The actress, 46, made the admission on Instagram on Wednesday as she showed off her figure in a black sports bra and shorts.

She appeared to be soaking up some sun on a boat dock while she protected her face with a cap and a pair of dark sunglasses.

‘I don’t think I’ll ever have a bikini body – that’s just not me – but my body has carried me through this life and I am so grateful for it,’ Rebel captioned the image.

The Pitch Perfect star went on to share a brief video in which she enjoyed the view of boats on a harbour.

‘I’m trying to get in my daily steps, do a Pilates class once or twice a week, some strength training when I can,’ she added.

‘Eat as healthy as I can (but let’s face it I love sweets – so I need those GLPs from time to time to give a little help).’

Rebel finished by sharing another photo of herself and her daughter Royce Lillian, three, whom she welcomed via surrogate and shares with wife Ramona Agruma – who is currently pregnant with their second child.

‘Being a working Mum, you just try your best! Shout out to everyone trying to be the healthiest versions of themselves while dealing with a LOT!’ Rebel added.

The Hollywood star previously admitted she used the type 2 diabetes drug Ozempic to help her lose weight – but insisted it was only after she did it on her own.

The Australian actress shed 36kg (80lbs) during her ‘year of health’ back in 2020, but said she did so without help from the trendy medication.

In 2024, she told The Diary of a CEO podcast with Steven Bartlett she ‘experimented’ with it briefly to maintain her weight loss after welcoming her daughter in 2022.

‘I wish I had known about it in 2020. If I had known about it, I would have tried it, one hundred percent,’ she said.

‘[It was] more for when I had lost 35 kilos. I was like, I can’t continue working out and having this level of focus. And I was very worried the weight would come back on.’

Rebel said at the time she had stopped taking the semaglutide injectable but would consider trying it again to help with cravings for sweets and curb her stress eating.

‘Now I have gained back 10 kilos, I guess because of having a baby and I just can’t work out to the level that I used to,’ she said.

‘And so I tried it for a few months for weight management, I guess you could call it.

‘I had an unlimited ability to eat sweets and chocolates and ice cream and stuff and that drug helped for me to feel full whereas I would not feel like that before.

‘I could eat a ton… I actually liked [GLP-1s]. I think for people like me those drugs can be really effective, but obviously I’m not on it right now.

‘But maybe if I was prescribed by a doctor I would go back on it’.

Rebel – whose polycystic ovarian syndrome affects fertility – originally decided to slim down at the urging of her IVF doctor in 2019.

The SAG Award nominee and her wife Ramona eventually welcomed their daughter Royce via surrogate in 2022.

Rebel (born Melanie Bownds) previously claimed to have successfully reached her 75kg (165lb) goal weight through high-intensity interval workouts with fitness trainer Jono Castano Acero, long hikes, and a high-protein/low-sugar diet.
