“Real Housewives of Orange County” alum Kelly Dodd is speaking out.
The 50-year-old took to TikTok on Thursday to defend her former co-star Meghan King after the latter lost custody of her kids to her ex Jim Edmonds.
“I just got off the phone with Meghan King Edmonds, and, she said that she gave one of her other twins, Hayes, some Ritalin and it made her a ‘dangerous mother,’” Dodd alleged in her video, which was shot from her kitchen, to provide some context.
King shares daughter, Aspen, 8, and twins, Hart and Hayes, 7, with Edmonds.
“And this I do know, Meghan King Edmonds — we’ve had a lot of differences and a lot of fights and a lot of things, she stayed at my house, I took care of her when she got her boobs and nose done — and I can tell you: she loves those babies, she loves those kids and I know for a fact she’s a good mother.”
She went on to call King, 41, an “excellent mother” before adding that she prays her former co-star “gets her babies back.”
Dodd then urged her fans to pray for King and her family, adding, “Those boys and that daughter need their mom, they need their mother. It’s terrible what’s going on right now — all we can do is pray for Meghan.”
Page Six has reached out to King’s reps for comment, but did not receive any at the time of publication.
On Wednesday, a source told Us Weekly that King had lost custody of her three children and was granted supervised visitation following an investigation from Child Protective Services.
The insider made sure to note that the arrangement is temporary and there will be a hearing in December to determine whether it will become permanent.
The investigation was allegedly prompted when a school employee filed a report with CPS about King.
King and Edmonds, 55, welcomed their three children throughout their five-year marriage.
The former couple got married in 2014, but they ultimately split in 2019 after the former MLB star was caught sending lewd messages to another woman.
Following their divorce, the two agreed to share custody of their children.
However, things soured in May when Jim’s now-wife, Kortnie Edmonds, called the cops to complain that King had trespassed on their property after they had made arrangements to drop off her stepdaughter’s dress.
However, “Meghan refused to hand Kortnie the dress and ‘pulled away and asked to speak to’ [her daughter],” according to a police report obtained by Page Six.
After being told that Jim and Aspen were at a baseball game, King allegedly yelled for her daughter from inside the house.
Although the former Bravolebrity eventually left the home, she was later confronted by Frontenac Police.
However, no charges were pressed against King, with her rep claiming that the situation had been “mischaracterized.”
“Meghan briefly called to her daughter from the doorway, never stepped inside, had the door slammed in her face, and calmly left her belongings on the porch. Upon leaving, she was unexpectedly blocked by multiple police vehicles and treated in a way that felt unnecessarily hostile,” the rep said.
Body cam footage later surfaced in September, where King could be heard telling authorities that her ex is “incredibly emotionally abusive.”
