Rory Culkin welcomed his first child with girlfriend Kate Arizmendi over the weekend as the couple announced the big news on social media.
The 36-year-old star, whose brothers are Macaulay and Kieran Culkin, has been dating the cinematographer since 2023 and the pair revealed they were expecting baby number one back in January.
Arizmendi took to her Instagram stories on Sunday to share that their daughter was born on Saturday, May 23 while also unveiling her very unique name.
Alongside a snap of the little one napping, the new mom added the text: ‘her in the womb while I’m screaming System of the Down.
‘Havoc Moon born 5/23 at 9:51 we’re so in love w you,’ she continued followed by crying face emojis.
Arizmendi included another slide which was a second picture of the newborn as she wrote: ’15 mins after pushing her out and so alert and excited about life already. also hello girl baby Rory.’

The cinematographer announced that both she and Culkin would soon be parents in a sweet Instagram post in January.
She uploaded a series of snaps at the time as she showed off her growing bump to her followers.
In one image, Arizmendi could be seen standing on top of a chair in an open field as scenic mountains stretched out behind her.
Her hands were placed on her stomach as she turned away from the camera in a black bralette top and denim jeans.
Another photo showed Culkin laying a gentle kiss on her baby bump during an adorable moment.
The actor could be seen holding up a blue onesie as the couple seemingly went shopping for baby clothes.
In the caption, Arizmendi wrote that both she and Culkin were ‘ridiculously excited’ for their baby girl to be welcomed to the world.
The couple were first romantically linked in 2023 and have since made rare red carpet appearances together.

‘I started really young and kind of just grew up with it. I didn’t have the usual introduction into it. It is just something I sort of took to and stayed with.’
Culkin added, ‘My brothers are obviously actors, and a couple of my siblings were actors too when they were younger, but they didn’t really like it, so they stopped. I did like it, so I kept at it.’
Some of his siblings have also kept up with their acting career over the years.
Macaulay has starred in films such as Home Alone, My Girl, The Good Son and Zootopia 2.
Their brother Kieran is known for roles such as Roman Roy in the award-winning series Succession.

‘Macaulay was very much established. Me and Kieran never really competed for the same parts – I am 6-7 years younger than him,’ the star shared to Cryptic Rock.
‘There was definitely no competitive nature. In fact, we would pass each other scripts if I thought I was a little to young for a part, I would send it to Kieran and visa versa. We were pretty supportive surprisingly.’
