Ryan Thomas has confused the current UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer with notorious US serial killer and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer.
On the latest episode of his podcast At Home With The Thomas Bros, on which he stars with his twin brothers Adam and Scott, 37, the group discussed horror films.
The Coronation Street star, 42, detailed his dislike of true stories fashioned into dramas, seemingly referencing Netflix’s 2022 hit true-crime drama miniseries DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
He said: ‘I just don’t really like horror movies… True horror, a true horror, like, you know, just Keir Starmer, whatever it is, that sort of that.’
A stunned Scott swiftly uttered: ‘That’s the Prime Minister’, before they all tried to recall Dahmer’s name, which Adam convincingly stated was ‘Jeffrey Llama’.

Their mention of the Prime Minister is newsworthy as Keir handed in his resignation on Monday – however the news appeared to have bypassed the Thomas boys.
Their latest podcast comes after Adam recalled the awkward moment his local corner shop robbed him of £100, after the owner said he ‘didn’t need’ the money.
The Emmerdale star, 37, recently completed a stint on I’m A Celebrity: South Africa, and has since found himself at risk of being blacklisted by ITV after claiming he felt ‘exploited’ by the channel during his turbulent time on the show.
Now, Adam has shared the moment that the owner of his village shop tried to swindle him by changing the figure to pay on the card machine, before he realised the vastly different amount.
On the podcast, he explained: ‘I got robbed! Listen right, so I went to my local off-licence, I was buying some sweets for the kids, and I went to pay for it, and I paid for it, and then I looked at the card machine, and it said £100…

Scott tried to educate his brothers on the facts
‘I was like ”bro what are you doing?” He went: ”Come on you don’t need it!” and I was like ”what do you mean I don’t need it?”
Adam continued that the owner of the shop told him: ”You’ve just come off the jungle man, you don’t need it.”
The soap star continued: ‘I looked him dead in the eyes, and don’t get me wrong I had a banter with this guy, we have a little bit of a laugh back and forth and everything. I was just a bit caught off guard.’
Ryan noted Adam and his family had been visiting the shop for ‘a while,’ and the star said the owner had even given his two children free sweets in the past.
He added: ‘That’s what I think, he’s getting his money back. But I was like ”bro you can’t do that.”
‘He said ”oh come on man, you don’t need, I need some money, I need some.” I said ”listen, I like you and everything, but don’t take the p**s out of me.”
‘Weeks passed and everything, and I sort of forgot about it, and I was walking through my village again, and I went in there, and he was like ”bro where have you been? You’ve not been back, I’ve been wanting to give you the money, come in, come in, come in,” and he was so apologetic.
