Sarah Michelle Gellar stands by secret to 23-year marriage with Freddie Prinze Jr.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are all that — thanks to their individual bathrooms.

The actress, 48, doubled down on her claim Tuesday that the secret to the couple’s successful 23-year marriage is “separate bathrooms.”

She said the same during a June 2025 “Today” show appearance, insisting, “It’s that simple.”

On Tuesday, her fellow “Star Search” judge Chrissy Teigen agreed with this relationship rule during their conversation with E! News at the competition show’s premiere.

“It is little things like that,” the model explained. “You’ve got to keep the sexy and preserve the sexy in a little bit of ways.”

Teigen joked that her husband, John Legend, doesn’t manage this “all of the time.”

However, she confirmed, “For all he knows, I have never farted or pooped.”

Teigen and Legend, 47, have been married since September 2013 and share four children — Luna, 9, Miles, 7, Esti, 3, and Wren, 2.

Gellar and Prinze Jr., for their part, have welcomed daughter Charlotte, 16, and son Rocky, 13, since tying the knot in September 2002.

The couple met co-starring on “I Know What You Did Last Summer” in 1997 but didn’t start dating until three years later.

When Gellar first gushed about their separate bathrooms last year, Tiffany Haddish proposed a similar step in the bedroom.

The comedian, 46, proposed “the [‘I Love Lucy’] thing where [Lucy and Ricky had] twin beds, and then when y’all want to get together, you push them together, and when you want to be apart, you push them apart.”

Gellar replied, “I had not thought of that. That is actually a really good idea.”

In 2024, the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum dished to Fox News Digital about how people “have to put the work in” to make their marriages work.

“We live in an extremely disposable society now,” she noted at the time. “Your phone breaks, you don’t fix it. You get a new one. And I think that’s a lot of the attitude toward relationships.”
