Sean Penn and Wunmi Mosaku have been crowned BAFTA winners in the best supporting categories as the star-studded ceremony gets underway in London.
Leonardo DiCaprio , Timothee Chalamet , Emma Stone and Kate Hudson are among the Hollywood stars descending on the capital for the 79th edition of the film awards.
Described as a bellwether ahead of next month’s Academy Awards , One Battle After Another leads the nominations with 14 nods, with Sinners, Hamnet and Marty Supreme following close behind.
Hamnet, helmed by Chloe Zhao, has broken the record for the most nominations for a female-directed film in BAFTA history, with 11.
The BAFTA Film Awards is hosted by Alan Cumming at the Royal Festival Hall on February 22 and will air on BBC One at 7pm.
