Selena Gomez celebrated the launch of a new product from her Rare Beauty brand on Thursday.

The actress and businesswoman, 33, rocked a chic pink mini dress for the event, hosted at The West Hollywood EDITION hotel in Los Angeles.

The star – who recently revealed how she works through her bipolar disorder with the help of her husband Benny Blanco, 38 – wore her black tresses pinned back, with a few strands left to frame her face.

She completed her look with pointed-toe white heels and accessorized with sparkly hoop earrings.

The event marked the launch of Rare Beauty’s True To Myself Natural Matte Longwear foundation, which retails for $38 and comes in 48 different shades.

Gomez started her cosmetics company back in 2020 and it is estimated to be worth around $2.7 billion as of 2025, per Fortune.

The latest Rare Beauty product is both cruelty free and paraben free. It is also vegan.

The event allowed guests to test out the new foundation while enjoying music from DJ Rae Sada.

Guests in attendance included Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke and makeup artist Natalie Violette.

Joining the star-studded guest list was internet personality Alexis Oakley, who put on a leggy display in a playful polka-dot top and matching mini skirt.

Pearse Renfree, Vice President of Global Education and Events at Rare Beauty, was joined by model Alma Cooper inside the event.

Renfree was pictured testing out a shade of the new foundation on Cooper.

Rare Beauty’s Global Makeup Artist Cynthia Di Meo was also spotted at the party.

The day prior Gomez gushed about the new product on her Instagram, writing, ‘Primes, covers, and sets all in one. My team and I at @rarebeauty have been working on this 3-in-1 natural matte foundation for years to make getting ready easier. It’s super lightweight, lasts all day, and honestly looks even better the longer you wear it.’

Rare Beauty boldly states that it is breaking down unrealistic standards of perfection.

‘Being rare is about being comfortable with yourself,’ Gomez said on her brand’s website. ‘I’ve stopped trying to be perfect. I just want to be me.’

Gomez’s producer husband did not appear to join her at Thursday’s event. The lovebirds tied the knot last year in September.

Last month, Gomez opened up about her mental health during an episode of the Friends Keep Secrets podcast. She joined Blanco as well as his co-hosts Lil Dicky and wife Kristin Batalucco as the topic of mental health was brought up.

At one point, the Eastside hitmaker asked Gomez if she knew she had bipolar disorder before receiving an official diagnosis.

‘I knew something was wrong, but I think I was misdiagnosed,’ she expressed, before admitting that the journey to getting a diagnosis was ‘f***ing complicated.’

Blanco then added, ‘The crazy thing is even Selena will have moments of like, she’s having mania and she doesn’t know.’

He explained that ‘it’s such a delicate thing because it’s like, you can’t really – you’re not supposed to technically talk to the person really about it while they are deep in it.’

Gomez applauded Blanco for being a ‘partner that will understand where maybe the temperature is at and meet you where you are.’

Following her diagnosis, the Only Murders In The Building star expressed that she is now able to live ‘freely.’
