That’s one way to mix fashion and technology.
Celebrities like Maggie Gyllenhaal, Emma Roberts and Lourdes Leon stopped by Longchamp’s SoHo flagship Tuesday night to celebrate the brand’s longtime collaboration with Jeremy Scott, who’s been putting his signature campy, colorful spin on the house’s iconic Le Pliage carryalls for 20 years running.
But the real star in attendance was the drone that delivered Scott’s latest design — fittingly, a postcard-inspired “Greetings from New York” bag — up several flights of stairs midway through the party, inspiring everyone in the vicinity to whip out their phones and start filming.
As we made our way to the store’s top floor to take in a display of Scott’s limited-edition Le Pliages from over the years, we spied Zoey Deutch and model Joan Smalls catching up in complementary midriff-baring looks, and Kate Mara enjoying the evening breeze on the terrace.
Meanwhile, “Summer House” stars Mia Calabrese and KJ Dillard took a break from the drama of the Season 10 reunion, posing for photos with their his-and-hers Le Roseau bags.
