The Beatles have revealed a brand new album will be released, featuring demos that have never been heard before as well as a remastered documentary.
It comes following days of speculation after the legendary rock band’s official social media channels teased an announcement earlier this week.
Posting on Instagram, it shared a series of images which each contained a number from one to four, though there was no caption for the post.
Now it’s been confirmed Anthology 4 will feature 13 previously unheard of demos for and sessions from the band, which is made up of Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Ringo Starr and the late John Lennon and George Harrison.
The news comes ahead of a brand new book and documentary series launching this November, with streaming giant Disney+ behind the show.

It will also include a ninth and new episode which will feature Sir Paul, Ringo and George in behind-the-scenes footage from when they originally made the series.
George Martin, the original Beatles producer, has also remastered Anthology 1, 2 and 3 which all four will release in November as a boxset containing 191 tracks.
Earlier this year it was revealed how Paul Mescal had signed up will be starring in the Beatles biopic movies.
Each film will focus on one member of The Fab Four, with Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison.
All movies are set to be released in April 2028.
It has the official thumbs-up from Sir Paul and Sir Ringo, as well as the estates of their late bandmates Lennon and Harrison – but fans might be hoping that their rougher edges and racier antics are not glossed over.
The Beatles were certainly no angels – nor prudes – when honing their sound during pill-fuelled all-night performances in Hamburg’s notorious Reeperbahn district between 1960 and 1962.
George Harrison later recalled losing his virginity to a woman there as a teenager in one of their grotty backstage bedrooms behind a porn cinema, applauded by his bandmates John Lennon, Paul McCartney and then-drummer Pete Best.

The Beatles, which are the most influential and best-selling band of all time, was formed in 1960 in Liverpool.
Sir Paul, 83, shows no signs of slowing down after nearly six decades onstage, as he recently gave fans a glimpse into how he keeps his energy high.
The music icon, who also led Wings—makes a surprise cameo in the upcoming Spinal Tap sequel, Spinal Tap II: The End Continues, hitting theaters this September.
Joining Elton John, 78, McCartney appears alongside the legendary fake band Spinal Tap, featuring Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest), David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean), and Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer), for one final concert in the mockumentary.
And director Rob Reiner revealed what drives McCartney to keep performing to sold-out stadiums well into his eighties during an interview with AARP’s Movies for Grownups.
‘I asked Paul McCartney about this. I said, “There’s you, Mick Jagger, Elton John, and you still like to perform. What is it about you guys? Is it that you just love the music? And you love performing?”’ Reiner began.
‘And he says, “Yeah. And the drugs,”‘ he explained of McCartney’s quip, which is also a joke line in the upcoming movie.
