I wanted to get to this, but a different, peculiarly German story took up airspace yesterday.

This one will give you all the diversity and woke heebie jeebies, I’m telling you.





Once upon a time, in the mid-sized (population a shade over 22K) German city of Herdecke, there lived the 57-year-old Iris Stalzer, the city’s recently elected Social Democrat Party (SPD) mayor, along with her husband and their two adopted children.

They were looking forward to her installation and swearing-in ceremony on the first of November.

On October 7, police received a call from Mrs Stalzer’s daughter that there had been an attempted break-in at the house and her mother had been hurt.

The poor woman reportedly told their 15-year-old son the same story before she collapsed.

Police arrived to find Mrs. Stalzer slumped in a chair awash in blood, with what appeared to be grievous wounds to her chest and head area, even possible burns. She was in such awful shape, they life-flighted her out in critical condition, in a valiant effort to save her life.

Thankfully, Mrs Stalzer survived her horrific ordeal, and within hours of being hospitalized, had recovered enough to start communicating with the police about the attack.

What she told them has rocked the country.

Her 17-year-old adopted daughter was the perpetrator of her ghastly injuries.

Her ordeal lasted for hours before she somehow found the strength to haul herself upstairs from the basement where the fiend had her trapped.





Where she’d spent the time torturing her adopted mother.

…Despite her extensive injuries, the SPD politician survived the ordeal and was questioned by police – revealing that her life-threating condition was caused by her own child. 

She described how she was tortured by her daughter in the house’s basement for hours, according to German outlet BILD. 

This included being stabbed multiple times with two separate knives, having her head bashed and the use of a deodorant can and a lighter to scorch her hair and clothing. 

When police investigated these claims they found one of the knives used in the attack in the backpack of Stalzer’s 15-year-old adopted son. They also discovered bloodstained clothing believed to belong to her daughter. 

Ms Stalzer was found slumped in an armchair in the house’s living room, with investigators still unsure how the severely injured woman escaped the basement.

Her son helped his sister try to hide the evidence of nearly killing their mother, all after an argument of some kind.

…Stalzer reportedly told police that she was tormented for hours by her daughter in the basement of her home, per Bild. The outlet noted that the victim had been stabbed with two knives, adding that attempts had been made to remove blood-stained evidence from the scene, according to authorities.

German outlet Focus also noted that the conflict in the basement between the mother and daughter allegedly “lasted for an extended period” of time. A heated argument was thought to have broken out between the pair, which then escalated, the outlet reported, citing security sources.

…The suspect is believed to have tried to set fire to her mother’s hair with deodorant spray, per the publication. A knife and bloody clothes were then allegedly found in a backpack belonging to Stalzer’s 15-year-old son, Focus reported, while Bild noted that the clothing is believed to have belonged to the politician’s daughter.





What happened next rocked the country again.

German authorities released the daughter and said they wouldn’t be charging her with attempted homicide. Their incredibly thin reasoning said that because the daughter had called emergency response crews for help, she surely didn’t mean to kill her mother.

The crime, if it’s even now considered one, is ‘dangerous bodily harm.’

Following a brutal knife attack against the mayor of the small German town of Herdecke, the case has swerved into very strange territory. Despite Iris Stalzer telling police her daughter was the one who stabbed her multiple times, police say there is no arrest warrant for the daughter. The strange statements coming from prosecutors are leaving many German media outlets wondering what exactly is going on.

According to an update from Focus magazine, Senior Public Prosecutor Bernd Halldorn held a press conference after the incident, where he said: “There are currently no plans to bring the accused before us to obtain an arrest warrant.”

Furthermore, Focus writes that “both adopted children will probably be released today and handed over to the Youth Welfare Office.”

Now, the crime is being classified as “dangerous bodily harm” rather than attempted homicide. The 57-year-old Stalzer was stabbed 13 times, yet despite the severe and brutal stabbing attack, both teenagers were reportedly released yesterday from police custody.

Halldorn also said during the press conference that “after the traces at the crime scene, we assume that the daughter is responsible for the injuries.”





All of Germany went, ‘Excuse us, WHUT?!’

German media were questioning the reasoning, finding the excuses for not charging, at the very least, the daughter, risible in the face of the circumstances and previous cases.

…Notably, there have been many murder cases in which the perpetrator called emergency services after the murder, often in an attempt to throw off investigators as to who actually committed the murder. In fact, Dutch newspaper de Telegraf states that the daughter said during the phone call that a group of men had stabbed her mother, which would be a clear act of deception on her part if true.

Police forensic units also determined that numerous bloodstains had been removed from the house using cleaning materials. If it were proven that the two teenagers had attempted to remove these bloodstains, normally they would be charged for attempting to tamper with evidence. However, once again, there does not appear to be any charges being issued in this direction.

When the crime scene scrubbing is factored in, it makes the prosecutor’s claims that the daughter was trying to call emergency services to help her mom even more questionable.

Halldorn also confirmed that “we didn’t see any traces (of the crime) outside the house.” The crime scene showed that the initial stabbing attack occurred in the basement.

Shockingly, police said they hadn’t yet bothered to question the brother.

…Halldorn was also asked if the son supported the stabbing act in any manner. The prosecutor simply responds that it is a “good question. We are still establishing the facts.”

Perhaps managing to question him about the stabbing attack would be a good start?





It turns out, there could be another reason besides a 911 call that there won’t be any charges for the ‘knife crimes’ and, as suspicions grow as word spreads, people are furious.

…The decision has provoked strong reactions with critics saying that the case illustrates double standards in Germany’s  justice system where people can be sent to prison for tweets but 17-year-olds who torture someone for hours, set them on fire and stab them 13 hours are released from custody within a few hours….

It was revealed that Stalzer’s adopted children are African and Haitian, and the specter of Germany’s infamous and well-documented ‘two-tiered’ justice system raised its ugly head.

…As Remix News reported yesterday, the public prosecutor in the case offered numerous excuses as to why the two teens are not being charged despite the severity of the crime.

Across X, commentators, influencers, and users are speculating about the case, pointing out the extreme double standard in modern Germany. Austrian right-wing political activist Martin Sellner wrote that Germans are being imprisoned for memes, while the daughter in this case will never appear before a court for her alleged heinous crimes. He wrote that it is clearly a case of “two-tier” justice.





Now a police spokesman has confirmed that the day before the attack, Mrs Stalzer went to the Wetter/Ruhr station to ask for protection from her daughter. She told authorities she felt ‘threatened.’ The police said there were two ‘personal contacts’ made on Monday and that they’d ‘opened a case.’

Nice of them, as apparently the frantic woman had already been there desperately seeking help this past June.

Unsurprisingly, the Stalzers do not want the pair back. 

…After the attack by the African adopted daughter on the SPD politician, Iris Stalzer and her husband do not want to take back their two adopted children (understandably). 

The costs for external care are enormous and will have to be covered by the German taxpayer at 36,000 euros per month.





I sure hope someone warns the staff at the ‘Youth Welfare Office’ who and what the new kids are.

The German taxpayers get to foot the bill for the psychotic duo, who will most probably never spend a day in jail.

They’ll be right at home with all the stabby types on German streets, though, who are also being supported by the taxpayers they prey on.
