On Wednesday night, the hottest ticket in town was courtside at Madison Square Garden, as the New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs in a historic comeback – with just one more win needed to be crowned this year’s NBA champs.
Celebrities from all over came to see the big game, including Taylor Swift, the Haim sisters and, of course, superfans Timothee Chalamet and his good luck charm girlfriend, Kylie Jenner.
But while the astronomical ticket prices were the talk of the town, with seats going for tens of thousands of dollars, what could have been even more expensive was the eye-watering costs of the courtside fashion.
Per the Daily Mail’s tally, celebrities wore ensembles worth thousands of dollars each.
Of course, one of the most famous faces of the night was Swift, who sported a cheeky T-shirt in the team’s signature blue and orange that read ‘Stevie Knicks,’ paying homage to her musical idol, Stevie Nicks.
She paired the casual tee with a pair of $495 black jeans with slits in the thigh, designed by Area. The jeans also featured a bedazzled chain around the belt loops.
To complete the courtside look, she carried a black leather bucket bag by Dior, their small D-Motion Bag, which retails for $4,000 and sported a pair of black Versace heels with gold chains around the toe.
The Versace shoes are no longer for sale but they’re available for around $700 on many major resale sites, like Vestiaire Collective.

Sitting alongside Swift – whose upcoming wedding to Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce is rumored to be taking place at Madison Square Garden – were Alana and Este Haim

Swift also sported some of her classic jewelry pieces, including the Shay Diamond Pave Dome Flat Link Necklace, which retails for $34,250, as well as her engagement ring made for her by Kindred Lubeck, which experts have previously estimated at around half a million to one million.

Alana’s punny shirt, which matched Swift’s, read, ‘Knickelback,’ as Este’s read, ‘Knicole Kidman.’
Both of the sisters kept their looks casual as Este rocked a pair of vintage, distressed and taped jeans by Maison Martin Margiela while Alana wore an edgy pair of low-rise leather pants.
Of course, also seated on celebrity row was perhaps the biggest Knicks fan of all time, actor Timothée Chalamet.
Chalamet and his girlfriend Kylie Jenner sported matching denim Chrome Hearts looks, reminiscent of their bright orange leather Chrome Hearts looks that they wore to the December premiere of his hit movie, Marty Supreme.
Their ensembles appeared to be custom-made by the designer, as they emblazoned both of their jeans with the signature Chrome Hearts cross in Knicks blue and orange.
The couple also sported matching jean jackets with the same embroidery. Typically, jeans from Chrome Hearts can range anywhere from $4,000 to $20,000, while their denim jackets land at a similar price point.

Jenner accessorized her look by carrying a small, white bowling-style bag from Chrome Hearts, which can go for over $14,000 on resale sites such as The RealReal.
She tied everything together with a pair of strappy, metallic silver heeled sandals while Chalamet sported his custom-made Knicks Timberland boots.
While Jenner didn’t appear to be sitting near close friend Hailey Bieber, the Rhode Beauty founder also made an appearance as she sat with comedian Jake Shane and singer Tate McRae.
Like many other celebs last night, Bieber kept things casual by wearing a Knicks t-shirt, denim jeans and denim jacket.
She appeared to pair the look with The Row Sacha Leather Thong Sandals in black, which are out of season but once retailed for over $1,000 as well as a black vintage shoulder bag.
Jenner’s former bestie, Jordyn Woods, was also in the team spirit as her fiance is Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns.
Woods sported a matching white denim jacket and jean look that appeared to be by Levi’s, which was custom embroidered in support of the Knicks and her fiancé, of course.
She appeared to be sporting the classic brand’s 90s Shrunken Collarless Trucker Jacket, which retails online for $110.

Other major fans sitting in celebrity row last night included Spike Lee, who sported a blue-and-orange Knicks t-shirt and custom blue leather bag and Nike Dunks
But what was really the star of the show was her ‘lucky’ bag – an ostrich-print clutch in bright, Knicks orange.

Fans have coined the purse as the team’s good luck charm, because ever since she started wearing the bag – which was over 42 days ago – the team has won 12 games in a row, a phenomenon that she recently explained to Conde Nast Traveler.
‘I didn’t know how impactful this bag was! I didn’t know people really were paying attention that much!’ Woods told the outlet during the interview.
And of course, Woods also sported her massive, emerald-cut diamond engagement ring, which is estimated to be about 15 carats and over one million dollars, according to TODAY.
The ring’s band is also surrounded by pink diamonds, while the inside features hidden birthstones for themselves and their parents.
Other major fans sitting in celebrity row last night included Spike Lee, who sported a blue-and-orange Knicks t-shirt and custom blue leather bag and Nike Air 3 Jordans.
According to Sports Illustrated, the shoes were released in April, going for $205, featuring orange and white elephant print around the mudguard and Jumpman logos in mismatched colors on each of the shoe’s tongues.
The shoe also featured Spike Lee’s official logo on the sides.
