And, while the engagement nearly broke the internet with excitement from fans, America now has to prepare for its own version of a royal wedding.
Both football lovers and music fans will be curious about every aspect of their nuptials – from location to flowers to the guest list, and, perhaps most importantly, Taylor’s dress.
Over the years, Taylor has served up some seriously iconic looks, especially on her worldwide Eras Tour, where she favored designers like Oscar de la Renta and Versace.
For her engagement shoot, which she posted photos of yesterday, she and Travis matched in Ralph Lauren, as the Cruel Summer hitmaker sported a $400, silk blend striped dress from the brand.
But forget the casual look for the engagement shoot – fans are dying to know which designer Taylor will wear to her wedding, and what the dress will look like.
According to style expert Liz Teich of The New York Stylist, Taylor has a multitude of options when it comes to the dress designer she will choose.
Teich exclusively told Daily Mail that Taylor may go for Elie Saab, a designer she often wears on the red carpet.

‘He’s been a staple for her on the red carpet for her for the last decade, including her iconic ombré dress for the Grammys in 2015 and even designed gowns for her Eras tour,’ Teich told Daily Mail exclusively.
However, Taylor also loves to support a smaller brand, as she did with her old-mine diamond engagement ring, which was made by jewelry designer Kindred Lubeck.
‘I’d love to see her and her stylist, Joseph Cassell Falconer, go with one of the up-and-coming designers she loves, especially the bridal designer Nicole + Felicia Couture,’ Teich shared.
‘She seems to be loyal to the designers she works with and to support a smaller brand would be so meaningful from such a megastar,’ Teich continued.
‘I can see them designing something even more epic than the gown with over 200,000 hand-sewn crystals and sequins that they made for her tour.’
Celebrity style expert Heather Campbell of the popular account @Celebstyleguide also seems to think that Taylor might be looking towards an Elie Saab gown.

But once Taylor has decided on a designer, she’ll then have to make an even more difficult decision: what her wedding dress will actually look like
‘She also has a long history with Vivienne Westwood, Versace and Zuhair Murad, both of whom could create a gown that feels glamorous yet deeply personal,’ the expert told Daily Mail.
‘Oscar de la Renta, in particular, has strong roots in New York, a city that has been central to Taylor’s story, which would make that choice feel both symbolic and stylish,’ she added.
Most recently, Swift wore a gorgeous, pale blue gown by Oscar de la Renta to the premiere of her Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert movie.
The gown was strapless and featured elegant cut-out floral designs throughout.
But once Taylor has decided on a designer, she’ll then have to make an even more difficult decision: what her wedding dress will actually look like.
According to Campbell, Taylor’s current aesthetic is ‘classic, feminine, and a little vintage inspired,’ which could inspire her choice.
‘I think her ceremony look will lean toward timeless romance, a full skirt, delicate lace or embroidery, and possibly long sleeves or an off-the-shoulder silhouette, something that feels regal but not overly ornate,’ Campbell shared with Daily Mail.
‘She gravitates toward soft ivories and champagne tones rather than stark white, which would photograph beautifully,’ she continued.

Though, of course, experts are speculating that Taylor won’t have just one look at her wedding.
Like her famous Eras Tour and multiple costume changes, Teich thinks the same could be true for her upcoming nuptials.
‘She’s a lover of sequins and wore a lot of Ashish, including their signature graphic top in a custom ‘I knew u were trouble,’ so I would not be surprised if she broke out some sequins like theirs for the party,’ Teich explained.
‘Though, I hope she leans into some up and coming and designers local to her roots, like the sequin-adorned NYC turned Nashville-based brand, Any Old Iron,’ Teich added.
It’s unclear exactly when the couple will get married, but it may have to wait until after Travis’s football season ends.
When Taylor broke the news Tuesday, she captioned the adorable photos, ‘Your English teacher and gym teacher are getting married.’
The photos featured the Cruel Summer songstress and the football star embracing in front of a stunning archway made of greenery and surrounded by countless white and pink roses.
