Tom Sandoval has addressed the controversial lawsuit involving his ex, Ariana Madix, and his lawyer’s recent actions. The drama unfolded earlier this week when Tom, 42, filed a lawsuit against Ariana, 39, claiming she had accessed and distributed personal content from his phone regarding his relationship with Rachel Leviss without his authorization.

Rachel Leviss’ Initial Lawsuit
Former Vanderpump Rules cast member Rachel Leviss initiated the turbulent legal saga in February by suing both Sandoval and Madix. Leviss alleged revenge porn, invasion of privacy, eavesdropping, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Sandoval later sought to address these claims.
Trusting Legal Advice
Late Tuesday afternoon, my attorney, Matt Geragos, whose advice I trusted, called me about the Cross-Complaint in the lawsuit against myself and Ariana. He assured me that the action was customary and strictly preventative in these types of lawsuits and urged me to agree to it.
Miscommunication on Legal Actions
The words ‘New Lawsuit’ or ‘Suing’ were not articulated to me,” Sandoval continued. He acknowledged should’ve done more due diligence on the matter. Upon realizing what this actually means, I have removed Matt Geragos from my legal team.
Rachel Leviss’ initial suit claimed that Ariana obtained access to videos on Sandoval’s phone without permission on March 1, 2023, watched them, made copies, and subsequently distributed them.

Lawsuit Withdrawn and Moving Forward
Acknowledging mistakes made during the legal proceedings, Tom stated: In no way am I suing Ariana. The action Ariana brought on my behalf is being removed. I hold no ill will or vindictiveness toward Ariana.
He concluded with hope for both parties: Now, by removing both the Cross-Complaint and the attorney who recommended it, I hope to get through this case quickly so that Ariana and I can both finally MOVE ON with our lives.
