The former model already has a haircare line, Pattern Beauty, that specializes in curly, coily and tight-textured hair patterns. The company launched its first hair tool, a blow dryer, in January 2023.

“Like all of us, I have a relationship with heat that started off as not a good one for my curl pattern, whether it was the physical pain of heat or the emotional pain of losing my curl pattern,” she told People at the time, sharing the inspiration for the tool, which she said took about two years to develop.

The “Girlfriends” alum has been a strong advocate for women embracing their natural beauty and candidly recalled criticism of her natural hair texture back in 2020.

Ross was told she had to “put some heat” on her hair when she went to the Essence Music Festival and was shamed for wanting to wear it naturally.

“Growing up, we all went through this experience, where straight hair was your dressed-up hair,” she explained to Elle at the time.

“The blowout, silky-whatever meant you became more presentable, more appropriate. It was your dressy, sexy version of you. I see such an evolution on that narrative and I’m so grateful for it.”

Some other fans in the comment section of her bikini-clad photo shoot questioned her relationship status, with one writing, “Who is her man.. fellas messed up big time leaving this unclaimed..”

The Emmy-nominee has been open about enjoying the single life and has not had a public relationship in over a decade.

“I am happily single, though that doesn’t mean I am not open to and don’t want a relationship,” she told Shape in 2020.

“But in my wonderful and robust experience of being single, I have learned to have a productive relationship with loneliness and an intensely juicy relationship with my joyful solitude — I really enjoy my company.”

“One of the things that’s been lovely to discover is how I care for myself and how I actively love myself. And I believe that love is an action: You get back what you put in.”

“I used to spend so much time trying to be perfect, to get it perfect. But that’s not realistic. Bad feelings come up,” the daughter of icon Diana Ross concluded.
