Travis Kelce got into a heated exchange with his coach, Andy Reid, during Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Giants game at MetLife Stadium.
During the second quarter, the tight end caught a pass that set up a 40-yard field goal attempt that kicker Harrison Butker missed.
As Kelce walked over to the sideline, he was met by angry Reid, who furiously yelled at the athlete and then bumped him with his shoulder.
The “Grotesquerie” actor then fired back before Reid, 67, eventually walked off.
It’s unclear what Kelce, 35, and the four-time Super Bowl champ were discussing. However, the Chiefs still went on to defeat the Giants, 22 to 9.
This isn’t the first time Kelce and Reid have gotten into an intense altercation on the field.
During the 2024 Super Bowl, the three-time Super Bowl champ purposely bumped into the head coach while screaming at him after the Chiefs fumbled the ball against the San Francisco 49ers.
Following their Super Bowl win, Kelce discarded any talk of the clash with Reid.
“I’m gonna keep it between us,” he told ESPN. “I was just telling him how much I love him.”
A source told Page Six that Kelce is “just a passionate player and everyone’s on edge.”
“It’s the Super Bowl! But there was no mal intent,” the insider added. “He respects Coach Reid. It’s really just about the passion of the game. It wasn’t anything serious.”
Most recently, Kelce exploded on his Chiefs teammates before they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles.
On Sept. 14, the fiancé of Taylor Swift was seen taking off his helmet and throwing it to the ground during the second quarter of the match at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
“I’m sick of this s–t,” Kelce told his teammates, despite them having the lead.
Ultimately, the Chiefs fell to the Eagles, 17 to 20.
Additionally, the NFL then fined Kelce nearly $14,500 after he made an “obscene gesture” near his groin area after making a 23-yard reception.
