Sylvester Stallone stars in the first TV series of his legendary career with Paramount Plus’ new show Tulsa King.
The 76-year-old actor plays Dwight ‘The General’ Mandfredi, who just got out of prison after serving a 25-year stretch.
Much to his surprise, he’s sent to establish a Mafia presence in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the new series, debuting Sunday, November 13.

The trailer begins with Frank riding in the back of a car as he’s heard telling someone, ‘I kept my mouth shut for 25 years.’
He’s seen in a room with a number of other mafia leaders, one of whom is asking what he expects, and Frank says, ‘Adequate compensation.’
‘Tulsa. I want yo to go there. The horse races, Springboard Mile. There’s nobody doing nothing you can do whatever you want,’ Frank is told.

‘Not exactly the welcome I was expecting,’ Frank says, as he’s seen arriving in Tulsa and meeting a taxi driver who welcomes him to Tulsa.
He slides him an envelope of cash and says he’ll pay him ‘two grand a week’ to drive for him, as Frank asks what, ‘crew’ runs the neighborhood.
‘Ain’t no crew up in here. We’re in the middle of nowhere,’ the driver tells him.
Taxi: ‘Not exactly the welcome I was expecting,’ Frank says, as he’s seen arriving in Tulsa and meeting a taxi driver who welcomes him to Tulsa

Frank heads to a local bar, asking the bartender, ‘I assume you don’t have Chianti?’ and the bartender responds, ‘You assume correctly.’
He goes into a dispensary where he knocks out one employee and tells another (Martin Starr) that he’ll protect them from the gangs and the law… but there are no gangs and dispensaries are legal.
The employee is visited by the FBI and he tells Frank, ‘There was no risk until you came along.’
Bar: Frank heads to a local bar, asking the bartender, ‘I assume you don’t have Chianti?’ and the bartender responds, ‘You assume correctly’

Frank is told about a motorcycle gang and the leader tells Frank he’s, ‘overplaying’ his metaphorical hand.
‘When I play my hand, you won’t see it coming,’ he says as he’s seen preparing to go to war.
He’s seen having dinner with Stacy (Andrea Savage) who says he has quite the appetite for someone who just got shot at.

The trailer winds down with a number of dramatic shots including Frank telling someone there’s, ‘no such thing’ as the mafia while Frank buries a body.
‘Is this a one-off or one of many?’ Frank is asked and he shrugs and says, ‘Too soon to tell’ as the trailer comes to an end.
