ESPN+ will broadcast the Wrexham-Chelsea game.

In one of the more rare soccer matchups, Wrexham is hosting Chelsea in the FA Cup, and fans are curious about how to watch today’s game. Fans will not be able to watch the Wrexham-Chelsea match on a traditional TV channel.

Instead, the match will be streamed on ESPN+ requiring an ESPN Select subscription starting at $12.99 monthly.

For fans only interested in watching Wrexham take on Chelsea, there does not appear to be an ESPN+ free trial. Instead, the best option appears to be subscribing for the month then canceling if you do not desire to keep an ESPN+ subscription.

The ESPN+ coverage begins at 12:15 p.m. Eastern, while the game kicks off at 12:45 p.m.

Here’s what you need to know about Wrexham taking on Chelsea.

Wrexham Hosts Chelsea at the Racecourse in the FA Cup Game

The two teams have played in the United States in friendlies, but this is a far different matchup. Wrexham hosting Chelsea at the Racecourse is one of the beautiful things about the FA Cup.

Many American fans have come to love Wrexham as a result of the popular “Welcome to Wrexham” docu-series. Actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney purchased the team and have injected new life into Wrexham.

McElhenney and Reynolds will offer live commentary on Sky Sports during the Wrexham-Chelsea match.

“Like a lot of people I was brought up watching the FA Cup and you have a duty to really respect the club you’re managing and their history,” Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson said of the team’s matchup against Chelsea, per BBC.com.

“When you go around the Wrexham area, the game most supporters will still talk about is that Arsenal game with Mickey Thomas all those years ago, and the highlights will often be on the TV when the FA Cup comes back around again,” Parkinson added.

“But I said to the players before the Forest game this is our chance now to make more memories. We did that and have earned the right for this, so can we make some more memories on Saturday evening?”
