Victoria Beckham’s petty behavior at her son Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding to Nicola Peltz has been a “pattern” throughout the young couple’s marriage, Page Six has learned.
“Everyone in the room witnessed what happened,” a source close to Brooklyn and Peltz exclusively tells us of Victoria hijacking their first dance.
“The shock was palpable. It was deeply hurtful. Unfortunately, this wasn’t a one-off. It’s a pattern that still happens to this day.”
The awkward moment took place when Beckham family friend Marc Anthony got onstage to perform at the reception, People reported Thursday.
“Before the song began, Marc Anthony asked Brooklyn to come to the stage, and then announced, ‘The most beautiful woman in the room tonight, come on up…Victoria Beckham!’” an insider told the outlet.
The move led Peltz to “run from the room crying.”
“Nicola felt like Victoria did this on purpose, when she knew it was a pre-planned romantic dance meant for Brooklyn and Nicola. What she couldn’t understand was why,” a second source said.

Tensions have reportedly been high between the Beckham and Peltz families since the Palm Beach wedding.
The “Bates Motel” actress did not wear a wedding gown designed by the Spice Girl, which allegedly led to a fallout with her mother-in-law.
However, the two have attempted to squash rumors of a rift over the years with friendly social media posts.
But speculation of a feud reignited after Brooklyn, 26, and Peltz, 30, skipped David Beckham’s star-studded 50th birthday celebration in the UK earlier this month and a previous Miami bash in March.
An insider told us earlier this month that the couple made no attempt to attend the retired athlete’s star-studded soirées amid a “very sad” estrangement.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn has reportedly grown very close to his wife’s “powerful” billionaire parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz.
Another insider recently told Us Weekly that the clash between the families is “rooted in control and different plans for Brooklyn’s future.”
“David and Victoria are used to being in control [of situations like this] and there has been a shift,” the insider added.
Nicola had allegedly attempted to keep up a “close and positive relationship” with David and Victoria, though those efforts have recently “come to an end.”
Still, Brooklyn’s parents reportedly want to mend their relationship with their son and daughter-in-law.
Amid the family turmoil, the source said Brooklyn and Nicola’s relationship has only grown stronger.
“Nicola and Brooklyn are incredibly happy together, dedicated to building a marriage based on unconditional love, caring, support and family,” the insider said.
“It seems this exposure to a healthy relationship has made Brooklyn question his own family and upbringing.”
