Fans have accused Vogue of Facetuning Amal Clooney, pictured, in a recent social media post highlighting her appearance at the Prix Suisse event in Switzerland

Vogue readers have been left fuming after its recent pictures of Amal Clooney shared to Instagram appeared to have been Facetuned.

The magazine shared two photos of the human rights lawyer speaking on stage at the Prix Suisse event in Switzerland on Sunday, with users noticing an unusually air-brushed appearance.

Clooney, 47, took to the stage to talk about a range of topics including her career as a human rights lawyer and her work for the Clooney Foundation for Justice – but some were fixated on her face.

Clooney is known for her sculptured cheekbones and striking features, but critics claim they barely recognized her in Vogue’s post.

‘Why did they AI her face? She looks horrible. She’s a 50-year-old woman so what you didn’t need to make her look like she’s 20,’ fumed one user.

‘Did Vogue just FaceTune Amal Clooney?’ questioned another.

A third asked: ‘Why did you face tune her???’

‘Please don’t filter this stunning individual. Her brilliance is the focus,’ a fourth chimed in.

Another summarized what many users were thinking.

‘Honestly I thought was someone else in the first pic!’ they wrote.

Although the wife of actor George Clooney looked stunning in a plunging bright red Sergio Hudson jumpsuit, which she paired with gold earrings and gold heels with her hair blown out, some also slammed the magazine for only talking about what she was wearing, rather than the contents of her speech.

The post was captioned: ‘Over the weekend, Amal Clooney put a festive twist on her signature silhouette for an appearance at the 2025 Prix Suisse.

‘Clooney addressed the crowd in a statement jumpsuit–a look she’s made her public-speaking go-to.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to Amal Clooney’s representatives and Conde Nast, Vogue’s parent company, for comment.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot that eye-catching jumpsuit was also worn by the lawyer before at Meghan Markle’s 2019 baby shower six years ago.

In August, the natural beauty was accused of ‘upstaging’ her movie-star husband at the Venice Film festival premiere of his film, Jay Kelly.

The mom-of-two wore a stunning fuchsia mini dress with a dramatic train, with her age-defying looks apparently due to a pricey facial she underwent before the event.

Clooney reportedly had a 111SKIN treatment which involved her getting ‘wrinkle-minimizing wand movements’ and a facial massage, as previously reported by the Daily Mail.

The products for the treatment reportedly costs just under $3,000 and the 90-minute procedure costs around $315.

Clooney, who shares eight-year-old twins – Alexander and Ella – with her husband of 11 years, has long been known for her prestigious law career.

She has represented several high-profile clients, including former Maldivian president Mohamed Nasheed and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

The Beirut-born lawyer, who moved to the UK when she was two to escape the Lebanese War, is an adjunct law professor at Columbia Law School and a Visiting Professor of Practice at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford.
