A couple who are planning to stay at every Disney hotel on the globe have laid bare their plans to visit 45 resorts in five different countries in just 52 days.
James Doherty, 31, and Chloe Doherty, 28, based in the UK, have been avid Disney fans for years.
They take their daughter, Athena, three, to a Disney theme park ‘two or three times a year, sometimes even more.’
Now, they have set out on a quest to stay at every single Disney property in one massive trip, something that’s never been done before.
The pair, who started the endeavor this weekend, said it will take them roughly two months to complete, and will total more than 50 hours of flying.
‘We usually visit Disney around two or three times a year – sometimes even more,’ Chloe explained during an exclusive chat with the Daily Mail.
‘We’ve been to Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort in California, Tokyo Disney, and enjoyed a few Disney cruises as well.’
She explained that they always dreamed of doing a trip like this but ‘never quite had the opportunity’ to do it.

But after ‘dealing with some health challenges’ earlier this year, they figured it was finally time to make their dream a reality.
‘We’d talked about it so many times but never committed – then, after dealing with some health challenges, we woke up one morning and thought, “Life’s too short. Why not? Let’s do it!’ And that’s when we started looking into it,’ she recalled.
They’ve been planning since April, and mapping out the perfect route to hit all the resorts was not easy.
But now, they’ve got it all figured out; the endeavor will start at Disneyland Paris, where they’ll stay for seven days.
They’ll then head to Hong Kong Disney, followed by Shanghai Disney, and then Tokyo Disney.
After that, they’ll spend some time at Disney’s resort in Hawaii, before they head to Disneyland in California.
Next comes Disney’s hotel in Hilton head, South Carolina, and its Vero Beach, Florida, resort, before the family will end with Walt Disney world in mid-October.
‘We will be staying at 45 official resorts in total,’ shared Chloe.

‘Seven in Disneyland Paris, three in Hong Kong, two in Shanghai, six in Tokyo, three in California, 21 in Orlando, one in Hawaii, one in Florida coast, and one in Hilton Head.’
When asked about how much they have spent on the trip, Chloe stayed tight-lipped, stating, ‘We won’t be discussing cost at the moment.’
Chloe noted that she’s aware that it’s a lot of time at Disney parks in a row, but said she’s not worried that their three-year-old daughter will get sick of going to the Happiest Place on Earth.
‘She’s been going to Disney parks since she was a baby and, honestly, she probably loves them even more than we do,’ gushed the mother-of-one.
‘For her, every visit is exciting and new, so I think she’ll be just as enthusiastic on the last day as she is on the first.’
In response to anyone who may judge them for the extravagant endeavor, she said, ‘We know it’s a big, ambitious trip, but for us it’s about doing something we love as a family.

‘Everyone has their own passions – ours just happens to involve Disney and travel.
‘We’re making memories together, and at the end of the day, that’s what really matters to us.’
They plan to document the entire thing on their YouTube channel, called Doherty’s In The Magic.
‘We love Disney, we love travelling as a family, and this combines both in the most magical way,’ she concluded.
‘It’s about creating those once-in-a-lifetime memories together and being able to say, “We actually did it.” But being the first to do it is something pretty cool also.’
