Maggie Baugh has found herself caught in the media storm following the news of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s high-profile split.
The 25-year-old country music star was invited to join musician Keith, 57, on his tour last year and has raised eyebrows with their on-stage rapport.
After it was revealed earlier this week that Hollywood actress Nicole, 58, filed for divorce from her husband, attention has turned to Maggie.
Maggie met Keith in 2024 when he invited her to perform at the CMT Music Awards.
At the time, he was so impressed by her talents that he then asked her to join him as a utility guitarist.
‘Working with Urban was like going to rock star school,’ she gushed in an interview with Pittsburgh Music Magazine in April. ‘He is a musical encyclopedia.’
Maggie’s official website also references her working relationship with Keith, as well as her other recent successes.
‘Most recently, Baugh caught the attention of Keith Urban who asked her to join him on tour as his utility player,’ it reads.

Earlier this week, clips of Keith and Maggie’s on-stage antics resurfaced online.
In one clip from a Las Vegas show in April, Keith turned to Maggie on stage and sang, ‘I was born to love you.’
Elsewhere as they performed the track The Fighter together, he pointed to the up-and-coming star once again and tweaked the lyrics to reference her name directly.
‘Maggie, I’ll be your fighter,’ he sang. The original lyric goes, ‘When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter.’
The 2016 song, which originally featured Carrie Underwood, is about the early stages of a relationship when things could go either way.
Maggie shared a clip of the moment on Instagram over the weekend, captioning the upload: ‘Did he just say that.’

Rising country music star Maggie moved from Florida to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in music when she was just 18, but she had been putting out music long before then.
‘I put out my very first record when I was 13 years old,’ she told The Hamilton County Reporter last month.
‘I’m actually from south Florida and it’s a festival season all year round in south Florida, so I toured a lot there.
‘I started touring at the bigger venues and all the way up and down the state and up into Virginia. Then when I was 18 years old, I moved to Nashville and started touring a bunch.’
Maggie shot to fame via her TikTok series, Finish the Lick, in which she showed off her proficiency on multiple instruments.
Her talented videos garnered her more than 40 million views.
Maggie released her first two singles, Think About Me and Drinking to the Broken Hearts, in 2021.
She followed up those two tracks, with four more singles in 2022.
Maggie released her debut album, Dear Me, last year.

The well-placed Nashville music business PR source said: ‘The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business. It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.’
