Customers can now bring the ice cream parlour straight to their kitchen with the sell-out $14 Ice Cream Mix in Kit.
The affordable item helps create trendy rolled ice cream treats, similar to what is seen at Cold Rock Ice Creamery.
TikTok and social media have lit up with people sharing their creations, from creamy berry swirls to DIY desserts.
The humble yet ingenious kit has been dubbed a ‘must-have’ gadget of the season.
Shoppers quickly clocked its appeal, with the product selling out fast at Kmart.
However, eager shoppers can still get their hands on the kit at Target.

‘Was hidden on a bottom shelf at the back in my local Kmart. Only spotted it by chance,’ another wrote.
Others shared their excitement and ‘need’ to get their hands on the buy.
According to the product instructions, before the first use, wash the ice cream cold plate thoroughly with warm water and dry it completely.
Then, place it on a flat surface in the freezer with the stainless steel plate facing down. Freeze for at least 12 hours at -18 degrees Celsius.
In the meantime, prepare an ice cream mixture of your choice – such as combining the 3g of freeze-dried strawberries provided with 100mL of yoghurt.
Alternatively, heavy cream, condensed milk or a plant-based milk can be used.
Remove the cold plate from the freezer and avoid contact with the stainless steel plate. Carefully place it right side up on a solid surface.
Next, pour the ice cream mixture immediately onto the ice-cold plate. Use the spatulas provided to spread the mixture into a thin layer and decorate with sprinkles.
Wait five minutes for the mixture to solidify, then use the spatulas to scrape the thin rolls of ice cream.
