The war on the first amendment and censorship rages on. Fortunately, 17 attorney generals are standing up and fighting censorship of Crisis Pregnancy Centers in Google Searches. Led by AG’s from Virginia, Jason Miyares, and Kentucky’s Daniel Cameron the group has threatened Google with an anti-trust investigation if it censors pregnancy crisis centers from search results related to abortion.
The coalition wrote to Google asking if their company had changed anything in search results that would affect crisis pregnancy centers since Roe V Wade was overturned in June.
Google has not responded to requests for comment.
The AGs’ joint correspondence was in response to a June 17th letter written by Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) and Congresswoman Elissa Slotnick’s (D-Mich.) pressuring Google to block crisis pregnancy centers from their appearance in abortion-related searches, according to Epoch Times.
Democrats are pressuring Google to suppress crisis pregnancy center results. “Complying with these demands would constitute a grave assault on the principle of free speech,” say Republican AGs

Warner and Slotnick wrote to ask Google CEO Sundar Pichai how the company will filter information on crisis pregnancy centers if a user searches for “abortion clinics” or “abortion pills.”
They wrote “Google should not be displaying anti-abortion fake clinics or crisis pregnancy centers in search results for users that are searching for an abortion clinic or abortion pill,” and “If Google must continue showing these misleading search results and in Google Maps, the results should at the very least be appropriately labeled.”
This is not the only harassment crisis pregnancy centers have faced since Roe was overturned. Centers across the US braced for attacks after the June Roe decision. But despite the aggression toward the centers, Democrats have stayed silent.
Attacks on crisis pregnancy centers by radical pro-abortion activists are heinous, yet Democrats remain silent. These organizations provide crucial resources and deserve our protection and support.
