This weekend, settle in and relax with some great Netflix shows. The streamer offers many great binge-worthy choices to keep you entertained all weekend long. May 2022 will see many new releases on Netflix, including the highly anticipated fourth season of Stranger Things at the end of the month.

This week’s Netflix Top 10 TV shows list is a great place to start when searching for the best shows to watch. This week, Ozark is in the number one spot with The Circle, Welcome to Eden, Selling Sunset, and Bridgerton filling in some of the remaining spots.

Now let’s look at our recommendations for some great Netflix shows for the weekend ahead.

Outlander season 5

The fifth season of the wildly popular historical drama Outlander is now available to stream. This series is based on the novel series written by Diana Gabaldon that was created by Ronald D. Moore and airs on Starz.

The series follows Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), a WWII nurse who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743, where she encounters a dashing Highland warrior, Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). Outlander features an amazing cast of characters who draw viewers in while the story plays out with interest and intrigue.

The Lincoln Lawyer season 1

The first season of the Netflix original series The Lincoln Lawyer was released on May 13. This show is based on a series of novels written by Michael Connelly, with the first season being based on the second book of the series, The Brass Verdict. 

Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) is a Los Angeles lawyer who takes on cases big and small while operating his office from the back seat of his chauffeur-driven Lincoln Town Car.

The Lincoln Lawyer also stars Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Christopher Gorham.

Workin’ Moms season 6

Season 6 of the Canadian sitcom Workin’ Moms is now available to stream. Catherine Reitman is the creator, executive producer, writer, and star of the series produced by Wolf + Rabbit Entertainment, the production company owned by Reitman and her husband, Philip Sternberg.

The series is a must-watch for all moms who ever feel like they are doing something wrong. It is a hilarious and candid look at motherhood through the lens of four ambitious moms who juggle caring for their children, family commitments, and high-pressure jobs.

Love, Death and Robots

The adult animated series Love, Death & Robots currently has two volumes available on Netflix. On May 20, the third volume will be released. Now is the perfect time to watch or rewatch this series to prepare for the next season.

Love, Death and Robots is an anthology-based series where the three elements in the title are featured in the episodes, though some episodes don’t contain all three. Each episode is a stand-alone story with just under 20 minutes long run time. One unique aspect of this series is that each story is animated by a different animation crew featuring artists from various countries.

Grace and Frankie season 7

The final season of the longest-running Netflix original series, Grace and Frankie, has recently been released. The series was created by Marta Kauffman, known for co-creating Friends, and Howard J. Morris.

Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin) are two aging women thrown together when their husbands reveal they are in love with one another and desire to become married. Although their husbands had been law partners for years, the women never cared for each other as they have quite different personalities. The series follows the women, their ex-husbands, and their families as they navigate the new lives before them and all of the ups and downs life throws at them.
