From the United States successfully bombing Iran’s nuclear sites to several Supreme Court wins, the news cycle this week has been a wild ride. President Donald Trump has continued his internet trolling through it all.
Just in case you missed them amid fears of igniting World War III, here are five of the Trump administration’s best moments from this week.
1. NATO Chief Calls Trump ‘Daddy’
Mark Rutte, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s secretary general, apparently called Trump “daddy” during this week’s NATO summit while praising Trump for managing the Israel-Iran conflict. A reporter later questioned Trump about the interaction while Secretary of State Marco Rubio struggled to keep it together beside him.
This was quickly followed by White House social media accounts posting a reel of Trump set to Usher’s song, “Daddy’s Home.”
2. Bomb Iran
Speaking of songs, Trump posted the ’80s parody, “Bomb Iran,” of the Beach Boys’ “Barbara Ann” atop a reel of the U.S. B-2 bomber mission on his Truth account earlier this week. The White House intern making these reels needs a raise.
3. ‘They Don’t Know What The F— They’re Doing’
Speaking of Trump’s frustration about the Israel-Iran conflict, he dropped an f-bomb while leaving the White House for the NATO summit. “We basically have two countries who have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f— they’re doing,” Trump told reporters.
A TikTok account called “The Remix Bros” quickly turned it into a way-too-catchy rap-style remix.
4. The Diet Coke Button
Since his first term in office, President Trump has kept a red “Diet Coke button” on his desk to summon his drink of choice at a whim. Trump has joked about the button in the past, saying everyone gets a little nervous when he pushes it because it looks like it could activate nuclear weapons.
This week at an Ohio Republican Party dinner, Vice President J.D. Vance shared a story about the Diet Coke button.
5. Bashing The Press
Now for one of Trump’s favorite pastimes. This time, his target was Ed O’Keefe, CBS News’s senior White House correspondent, at a post-NATO summit press conference. While deciding which reporter to call on during a press conference, Trump commented on O’Keefe before taking his question.
“He is not nice at all,” Trump said, shaking his head. “I know him well.”
O’Keefe then asked Trump how he knows the Israel-Iran war is over, and Trump cited U.S. and Israeli intelligence.
