Americans Asked if Biden Should Be Impeached—Joe Isn't Going to Like the Answer – RedState

Joe Biden has failed the United States in so many ways, that it might be hard to tally them all up, from the debacle of the Afghanistan withdrawal that started his slide in the polls and cost Americans their lives, to opening the borders and making our country less safe. His latest perfidy was demonizing millions of Americans as “threats” to the nation in an unprecedented action–while inciting people against them–last week. A majority of Americans saw Biden’s remarks as a “dangerous escalation” against Americans. It’s hard to see him go overseas for any event because you know that he’s going to make all kinds of gaffes, people are going to walk all over him, and that his priority is not America first but whatever the leftist narrative might be.

Americans know it, and the majority have had enough of Joe Biden.

According to a new Rasmussen poll, a majority of likely voters say that they would be supportive of the impeachment of Biden, 52 to 42 percent, with 38 percent saying they would strongly support it; 77 percent of Republicans, 50 percent of independents, and 32 percent of Democrats are all for it.

“Support for impeaching Biden is highest among voters 40-64, who are also most likely to think that if Republicans win in the midterms, they actually will impeach the president. Retirees are least supportive of impeaching Biden,” the poll concluded.

That’s an incredibly significant number, maybe more so because there are a hefty number of Democrats who are for it. They’ve moved from just not liking the unpopular Biden, with his polls stuck in the basement with 38 percent approval, to believing he has earned getting the boot for what he has done. Of course, most of the media is ignoring that majority as though they don’t exist.

But it also sounds like Americans also doubt if the Republicans are going to go through with it. While the majority want him out, only 47 percent believe that the Republicans will impeach Biden, and 43 percent don’t see it happening in his first term (if it doesn’t happen then, it isn’t happening–because he isn’t getting a second term).

Maybe, given the history of the uni-party and some of the GOP establishment. But dozens of conservatives have already been talking about it; some are already planning on it, if they win back power in November. And more people willing to push the question are likely to be elected. Among the “high crimes” are Biden’s actions regarding the border, the pandemic, and the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“I have consistently said President Biden should be impeached for intentionally opening our border and making Americans less safe,” said Rep. Bob Good (R-Va.). “Congress has a duty to hold the President accountable for this and any other failures of his Constitutional responsibilities, so a new Republican majority must be prepared to aggressively conduct oversight on day one.” [….]

At least eight resolutions to impeach Biden have been offered since he took office: Three related to his handling of the migrant surge at the southern border; three targeting his management of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan last year; one denouncing the eviction moratorium designed to help renters during the pandemic; and still another connected to the overseas business dealings of his son, Hunter Biden. [….]

Rep. Mary Miller (R), a strong Trump supporter who recently won an Illinois primary over the more moderate Rep. Rodney Davis (R), said Biden should be removed “for purposely ignoring our immigration laws.”

“Biden and Harris have failed their most basic duty,” Miller said, “which is ensuring the safety of the American people through the security of our borders.”

So, we shall have to see who has principles and sticks to their guns — and who doesn’t.
