Since entering the Australian jungle, fans have been desperate to work out if I’m A Celebrity star Morgan Burtwistle is single or not.
The 23-year-old Twitch streamer, better known by his online name AngryGinge, has become something of a Gen Z icon, boasting more than five million followers across his social media accounts.
The likeable star is already winning over the British public, as he is the favourite to win the iconic ITV show.
And despite what viewers might have seen online, including a picture depicting him and a blonde girl kissing goodbye at Heathrow airport, Morgan was very much single when he left the UK – and his pals even said he would be open to finding love in Australia.
It seems these images circulating social media have been created by a female fan using AI. And it is not the first time Morgan has had to deal with romance rumours due to fake pictures.
Even his family had to do a double-take after seeing the very realistic-looking couple snaps.

One source close to Morgan tells me: ‘Ginge is very much single at the moment, but you wouldn’t know it from the amount of AI girlfriends popping up online.
‘His only current commitments are to the jungle and The Bov Boys. He’s seen all the AI photos in the past, and he finds it hilarious. Some of the edits are so good, even his family have done a double take.
‘He’s genuinely flattered by the attention, even if he’s currently living off rice and beans and battling insects. He knows people are emotionally invested because of what they see online, but he’s very relaxed about it and most definitely still single.’
In September, a blonde female fan created an image of Morgan hugging her from behind and kissing her on the cheek.
Furiously reacting, he said: ‘There’s no way that TikTok has popped off, there’s no way. Has it actually?
Placing his head in his hands, he continued: ‘It has 200,000 views, oh my god,’ before letting out a huge sigh.
He added: ‘I don’t know what is worse. The fact that TikTok has popped off or the fact that someone has went out of their way to AI me as their boyfriend.
‘I just want to reiterate, I have never, ever met this woman in my life.’

Morgan does seem open to finding love, as just two weeks ago, before flying out to Australia, he appeared in a YouTube video titled BOV BOYS FIND GINGE LOVE
Back in 2023, Morgan reacted to another TikTok clip, which saw a girl edit his face onto someone else’s body.
‘Seriously? What the f***? Do you know what I actually feel bad for? The boyfriend who she is leaving out to put my head on. Like, what the f***? It is mad,’ he said when reacting to the clip on a stream.
Last year, Morgan revealed that he had a girlfriend, although her identity remained private. In a TikTok shared by Footaslyum, he revealed: ‘I’m off the market’” when pals suggested he was open to love.
Whilst he was linked to fellow influencer Kaci Jay, it was never actually confirmed if they were ever dating.
Morgan does seem open to finding love, as just two weeks ago, before flying out to Australia, he appeared in a YouTube video titled BOV BOYS FIND GINGE LOVE.
In the video, four of Morgan’s friends quiz 12 women in an attempt to find his ‘perfect match’.
Four of the twelve women then went through to the next round, which saw Morgan go on a date with each of them while his pals told him what to say and do through an earpiece.
One date went particularly well with a blonde girl called Molly, who gave him a massage, a kiss on the cheek before he returned the favour.
Before the series had even started, Morgan was already named the early favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle by bookmakers. He has joined the likes of model Kelly Brook, and comedian-turned-mental health activist Ruby Wax in camp
Elsewhere, his pals, musician Tays and social media star Scousemali, have spoken about the possibility of Ginge meeting a girlfriend in the jungle.
Speaking in a new YouTube video, Tays said: ‘Ginge told me before he went on there, that he’s going on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here to find a girlfriend. That is the reason he said he is going on I’m A Celebrity, he said that he is going there to find a girlfriend.’
Scousemali added: ‘He’s going on there to find love, I mean I never got told this, Tays MCR got told this information then Scouse Somali got told second this information. Scouse Somali from Liverpool.’
Morgan has now left social media and his AI girlfriends behind as he entered the jungle with no technology on Sunday.
And before the series had even started, Morgan was already named the early favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle by bookmakers.
He has joined the likes of model Kelly Brook, and comedian-turned-mental health activist Ruby Wax, 72, in camp.
The show has also signed soap icons Shona McGarty, who played Whitney Dean on EastEnders between 2008 to 2024, and Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley, known for her role as Mandy Dingle.
They will join actor and Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, 64, as well as broadcasters Alex Scott, 41, and Vogue Williams, 40, and rapper Aitch, 25.
Jack Osbourne, 39, also entered the camp just four months after his rocker father Ozzy’s tragic death.
It’s an incredible feat for young star Morgan, who only started his online content five years ago when he signed up for Twitch, a live-streaming service where users can watch and broadcast content, typically video games.
Users can make money from the site via channel subscriptions, adverts and Bits – a virtual currency that viewers can buy and use to show support for streamers.
He already counts several other big names as friends, including Wayne Rooney (pictured)
Over the summer, Morgan appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox alongside darts player Luke Littler
Morgan filmed his first stream of FIFA gameplay in October 2020 after being inspired by fellow streamer Castro1021.
His success wasn’t overnight, with Morgan recalling he managed a peak of just 40 viewers with his first stream, which netted him £12.44.
After a few months he decided to take a break from Twitch after becoming ‘demotivated’ by only getting an average of six and seven viewers on his content.
Yet following the death of his grandfather from Covid in 2021 he returned to streaming full time – uploading content Monday to Friday to make a name for himself.
His persistence paid off, and after expanding to other social media sites, he soon began to make thousands all from the comfort of his bedroom.
In just the past year alone, Morgan is predicted to have made between £804,000 and £1.1million from social media.
Morgan, who was raised by his mother on a council estate in Salford, Manchester, told indy100 of his success: ‘I think it’s gone down well because people can relate that I’ve come from the same place they’ve come from.
‘I’ve come from a council estate and I know what they go through and have been through and can bond with them and get to know them more on a personal level.’
His bio simply reads: ‘I’m ginger. I have a joke and a laugh don’t be offended!
‘My real name is Morgan. I play games and stuff. Come watch!! (Main Aim is to Entertain)’.
Morgan still lives in Manchester but last year was able to buy his own home.
He previously rented a ‘s***hole’ apartment with no shower and peeling wallpaper for £350 a month in order to save up for a deposit.
