The Strongest Benders Likely to Appear In Season 2 of Avatar: The Last Airbender
Avatar: The Last Airbender has been a success for Netflix and Season 2 could introduce many powerful benders to the series.
Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender condenses a lot into just eight episodes and follows most of the plot from Book One: Water. This shapes the journey of Aang (Gordon Cormier), as he seeks to bring peace as the Avatar, master of all elements to the many kingdoms under strife. In Book Two: Earth, Aang, Katara, and Sokka seek out an Earthbending teacher and eventually recruit Toph Beifong. Along the way, they uncover crucial information about the war with the Fire Nation, but their journey takes a dark turn when Appa is kidnapped. Their quest leads them to Ba Sing Se, where they discover a significant government conspiracy within the Earth Kingdom’s capital.
Book Three: Fire focuses on Aang, now seeking to learn Firebending to defeat the tyrannical Fire Lord Ozai before the arrival of Sozin’s Comet. Concurrently, it also follows Prince Zuko, who is finally welcomed back into the Fire Nation after betraying his uncle Iroh and helping his sister Azula conquer Ba Sing Se in Book Two.
The Last Airbender features Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka Dallas, and Liu as Prince Zuko. The cast also includes Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as General Iroh, Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai, Ken Leung as Commander Zhao, Maria Zhang as Suki and Elizabeth Yu as Princess Azula.
The first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender is available to stream on Netflix.
