Victoria Beckham was somewhat less than in fits of hilarity when she became the butt of a joke at the star-studded Time100 Gala in New York.
She and her husband Sir David Beckham were jointly featured on this year’s list and oozed megawatt showbiz glamour during its celebratory event at Lincoln Center.
But when comedian Nikki Glaser took the stage, she skewered Victoria’s well-known penchant for posing with a severe look on her face.
‘One of the most impressive people on the list is Victoria Beckham, of course. She was a global pop star, now a serious fashion designer,’ Glaser began.
‘She’s married to David Beckham. She’s rich, successful, stunning – what’s it gonna take to get you to smile? I mean, really, please, smile! You’re one of the only British people who should,’ said Glaser, to laughs from the room.
Victoria, 52, on the other hand, wore a pinched, forced-looking half-smile while David, 50, sat beside her, grinning and chuckling nervously.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for the Beckhams for comment.

Victoria cut an ethereal figure at the event, draped in a off-white silk gown that highlighted the lithe figure she achieved with a diet David described as consisting almost entirely of ‘grilled fish’ and ‘steamed vegetables.’
Meanwhile David, who was knighted by King Charles only this past November, glowed as he posed proudly beside his wife in a classic suit and tie.
