How deep does this alleged corruption go? Many Americans are questioning the ethics of White House occupant Joe Biden after material discovered in Hunter Biden’s laptop revealed that the duo’s relationship may go a little bit farther than simply being a father and son.

As the New York Post reported, Hunter Biden has met with his father at least 30 times in both the White House and the residence of the United States Vice President. Critics believe the circumstances surrounding such meetings warrant an investigation at the very least — many of these interactions between the two occurred just days after numerous overseas business trips by Hunter Biden.

The president of Hunter Biden’s investment company Rosemont Seneca Partners, Eric Schwerin, was invited as a calendar recipient to 21 of the last 30 meetings, according to the report. Schwerin is apparently a longtime good friend of Hunter Biden, so much so that he appears to have had access to a bit of Joe Biden’s personal financial information.

House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik argued that the revelations only add more evidence of corruption.

“Hardly a day goes by without another revelation about how intimately involved Joe Biden was with his son Hunter Biden’s corrupt foreign business dealings. The fact that Joe was in meetings with senior foreign leaders on behalf of Hunter and his business associates while Vice President further proves that Joe has been lying to the American people,” Stefanik said.

The Post highlighted multiple examples of Hunter Biden’s various meetups. These included a dinner with billionaire oligarchs in Moscow between Feb. 15-18 in 2012 and an appointment with Romanian ambassador to the United States George Maior in November of 2015. Hunter Biden met with his father just days upon returning from both trips.

An email from Hunter Biden that drew particular suspicion was addressed to former Colombian President Andres Pastrana.

“Dear Mr. President. I look forward to seeing you when you are in Washington. I was hoping we could meet for lunch or coffee depending upon your schedule … I’d like to discuss an opportunity that I think you have already been initially briefed regarding OAS,” Hunter Biden said to Pastrana in February 2012. “I am checking on my dad’s schedule.”

Pastrana met with Joe Biden one month later.

Pastrana’s son spoke with The Post, explaining that his “father has a friendship with President Biden as they worked together for Plan Colombia…” while Biden was “Senator and chair of the Foreign Relation Committee.”

He reportedly insisted that the conversation simply “was around the gratitude my father had for then VP Biden and all his support towards Colombia.”
