Shedeur Sanders briefly left the Cleveland Browns’ game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday after suffering a gruesome cut to his pinky finger during the second quarter.
The young Browns quarterback, whose bloodied finger nail appeared to be hanging off in worrying fashion, exited the field in clear discomfort before being tended to by Cleveland medical staff.
He returned moments later with a plaster over the grisly injury, after temporary replacement Dillon Gabriel was sacked on the resulting third-down play.
To make matters worse for Cleveland, star running back Quinshon Judkins was also carted off towards the end of the second quarter after suffering a leg injury.
More to follow.
