More Details On The Bodycam Arrest Footage Of NeNe Leakes’ Son Bryson Bryant

On Wednesday, August 7, In Touch Weekly published exclusive footage of Bryant’s arrest on July 3, 2023. The outlet notes that Gwinett County police were “called out” to a neighborhood in Georgia around 1 a.m., where Bryant “was hanging out.”

Upon their arrival, officers reportedly asked Bryant why he was there. He reportedly explained that he “knew a homeowner on the street.”

An initial arrest clip shows officers instructing Bryant, who was initially sitting on a curb, to stand up. As he gets up, officers place his hands behind his back and cuff him.

Bryant can be heard yelling, “Ah,” and grunting repeatedly amid the ordeal.

A subsequent video shows Bryant sitting in the back seat of a cop car. One officer asks him, “Who did you buy it for?… Help me help you.”

The officer then asks Bryant if he bought the substance in Gwinnett County. In turn, Bryant seems to tell the cop that he’ll take them to where he allegedly obtained the substance.

“Yeah, I mean, I say, s**t — if you get me out of these cuffs, I’ll take you there,” he says.

The officer declines Bryant’s offer and informs him that a narcotics officer will speak with him soon. However, in the interim, the cop continues to question Bryant.

Leakes’ son explained to the officer that he got the substance from a “guy.” At that point, In Touch Weekly’s footage cuts to moments before Bryant was put in the police car.

Officers can be heard telling Bryant he had a “dime of fentanyl” inside of his car.

“You know how fast that s**t will kill you?” the officer later tells Bryant.

In turn, Leakes’ son replies, “Yeah, I do.”

Here’s What’s Happened Since Bryson Bryant’s Arrest

As The Shade Room previously reported, Bryant was subsequently accused of evading police and falsely asserted that he knew the individuals in the area where he was arrested.

Additionally, amid the ordeal, Bryant falsely identified himself to police as his brother Brentt.

In Touch Weekly reports that Bryant was subsequently detained until October 2023 for violating prior probation terms. In the following months, he reportedly reached a plea deal with prosecutors. Then, in July, a judge ordered the 34-year-old to complete 12 months of probation and pay a $500 fine.

Additionally, Bryant was ordered to complete 40 hours of community service and subject himself to random drug tests.

Furthermore, a judge has also ordered Bryant to undergo “an evaluation and/or treatment for substance abuse.” If the 34-year-old fails to comply with the terms or is found using narcotics, he will reportedly be detained.
