Boston Mayor Michelle Wu is “special.” Special because in a crowded field of extremist blue city, “sanctuary” loving American mayors, she stands out as one of the looniest. At a Beantown rally Tuesday, she went on a wild-eyed rant against Attorney General Pam Bondi, ICE, and the Trump administration’s threat to sue cities that refuse to stand down from their sanctuary city policies.
Former President Joe Biden let in untold millions of illegal aliens during his disastrous tenure, and progressive Democrats like Wu, California Governor Gavin Newsom, Illinois’ JB Pritzker, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, and so many others have fought for the rights of illegal aliens instead of the rights of American citizens time and time again. Somehow, though, Wu thinks the problem is Trump’s fault:
“Stop attacking our cities to hide your administration’s failures. Unlike the Trump administration, Boston follows the law… You are wrong on the law, and you are wrong on safety.”
Wu went on to say the political right has it “wrong on cities.”
“The cities that live in your minds are totally foreign to the residents living in our cities. And we are picking up the pieces of your failures to deliver on your promises,” before accusing the Trump administration of increasing costs on Americans.

It gets weirder, though: Wu goes on to imply that Floridians aren’t real Americans because the state hasn’t been around as long as Massachusetts:
Wu then referenced Boston’s role in the Revolution, addressing Bondi once more and knocking her home state of Florida as late to the constitutional party.
“We are gathered here today to show you who we are in Boston. More than 100 years before your home state was founded, Bostonians were across the street in Faneuil Hall, setting the foundation for our democracy and rule of law. One hundred years before that, Bostonians were founding the first public school and public park in the country.”
And I thought we were all Americans, no matter what state we are from; how silly of me.

Trump, Bondi, and ICE are the problem, Wu would have you believe, not “friendly fathers” and “model citizens” like these guys:
– Turkish illegal alien Bilal Karayigit, arrested by Boston PD for raping a Massachusetts resident over the age of 14. His ICE detainer was ignored & he was released into the community.
– Dominican illegal alien Julio Soto-Heredia charged in Boston w/ fentanyl trafficking & possession of a gun, & wanted in the Dominican Republic for firearms trafficking. Released from local custody with no ICE cooperation.
– Dominican illegal alien Gregori Thomas Romero, arrested by Boston PD for assault to rape, assault with a deadly weapon, and strangulation suffocation. Released from custody with no ICE cooperation.
– Guatemalan illegal alien Sostenes Perez-Lopez, arrested in Boston for the sexual assault of a child & released from local custody with ICE’s detainer ignored by the Boston municipal court.
That is by no means an exhaustive list; there are plenty of other disgusting examples.
It’s extremist far-left Democrats like Michelle Wu that helped Donald Trump get elected and have now necessitated the very response from the federal government that she helped engineer by flouting our laws. Wu has done plenty of fooling around, and in daring Bondi to come after her, she just may soon enter the finding-out stage.
One can certainly hope.
