Nikki, in the meantime, is asking for privacy on social media.
Her friends and family had turned to Facebook, Twitter and TikTok to find her after seeing worrying police bodycam footage of Nikki with a black eye and beaten up following a fight with Stratton.Â
In a Facebook post on May 30, the day she made contact with her family and was found again, friends shared a screenshot of her on Facetime.Â
‘OKAY SHES ALIVE Y’ALL. No further details at this time. Respect her family,’ said one friend.Â
Nikki has not offered any kind of public comment about the road trip, or why she stopped responding to friends.Â
No new charges have bene filed against Stratton.Â
Both he and Nikki declined to press charges when they encountered police in New Mexico.Â
