BRICK − One person was injured in a single-car accident Saturday night that left part of Chambers Bridge Road closed for several hours, police said.
The crash happened near the intersection of Chambers Bridge and Sprucewood Drive about 9:37 p.m. The roads were fully reopened at 1:40 a.m. Sunday, Lt. Henry Drew said.
Photos from the scene show a silver vehicle tipped over on its side. The driver was air-lifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, Drew said.
Brick police are investigating the accident, he said.
